A warm welcome from the Souderton-Telford Rotary Club which has been serving the local community since 1925. Our vibrant club is honored to be one of the more than 34,000 Rotary Clubs around the world committed to service above self.

You are invited to join us for one of our Thursday meetings.

First, Second, and Fourth Thursdays of the month at 5:30 pm at Indian Valley Country Club; Third Thursday of the month we meet at a local restaurant at 12pm.

In addition to serving the community, we support charities and community programs such as:

• Community Welfare Fund • Youth Leadership Programs

• Academic Programs • Scholarships for students graduating from Dock Mennonite Academy

and Souderton Area High School • Freed education to girls at the Zabuli Education Center in Afghanistan

• Souderton Area High School Interact club • Souderton Area High School Students of the Month

The Interact Club of Souderton Area High School is a Rotary sponsored club that brings together young people to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self.

Interact helps students connect with leaders in our community and around the world to

• Take action to make a difference in their school and community • Discover new cultures and promote international understanding

• Become leaders in their school and community • Have fun and make new friends from around the world

The Interact Club of Souderton Area High School has contributed items to our Benefit Auction.

100% of the proceeds from these items will go directly to the Interact Club.

Rotarian, Razia Jan is the founder and president of Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation, a nonprofit organization that empowers young women and girls in Afghanistan through community-based education in the district of Deh’Subz. Their flagship project is the Zabuli Education Center (ZEC), an all-girl K-12 school that provides free, exemplary education to more than 625 students.

Sponsorships are needed for the girls at ZEC. $300 a year changes the future for girls who will receive an education and with it, a future that shines bright.

The first six $300 donations designated to go to Razia’s Ray of Hope Foundation will receive a Celebration of Women Rotary pin.

Souderton Area High School Experience

Two guests are invited to join Superintendent, Frank Gallagher, Principal, Sam Varano, Math Teacher and Interact Advisor, Kathy Perricone, and the Interact Club Officers for lunch in the library of the Souderton Area High School. Following lunch, guests will be given a tour of the high school which will culminate in the television studio for a group photo shoot in front of the green screen. Guests may pick the background for their photo. In addition, two tickets will be given for any regular season sporting event and two tickets to the spring musical.

Golf Foursome

Attention golfers! Indian Valley is a challenging Par 72 layout. There is a premium on accuracy with tee shots as well as approach shots. Errant tee shots may find the numerous trees lining each fairway or one of the many water hazards on the back nine. Loose iron shots into the greens will make "ups and downs" a difficult task due to the undulating greens. Although a long ball is not necessary, Indian Valley has four Par 4’s over 400 yards in length.

We are offering pleas following the live auction where you can make a donation for one of the following:

- Merit Based Scholarships o Applications are considered by Souderton-Telford Rotary every

year for seniors of Dock Mennonite Academy and Souderton Area High School. The funds raised during this plea will be applied to the merit-based scholarships.

- Needs Based Scholarships o Every year the Souderton Telford Rotary awards scholarships to

seniors graduating from Dock Mennonite Academy and Souderton Area School district who need financial assistance to pay for the education. Money raised during this plea will be used for these scholarships.

- Souderton-Telford Rotary Club (STRC) Charities Fund o Throughout the year, the STRC receives financial requests from

local and international individuals and organizations. If approved by the STRC Project Selection Committee, funds from the STRC Charities Fund are distributed to those individuals/groups. The money raised in this plea will be applied to the STRC Charities Fund to be distributed to help Change Our World.

There are so many people to thank for helping to make this benefit auction a success.
