We conducted an informal, brief survey of the community Sent to parents of Scenic Park Elementary

Sent out through SFCC email

Sent to friends and neighbors and asked them to forward the survey to their neighbors

123 people completed the survey

What we have learned from the research and survey comments:

Tudor /Muldoon curve is a safety concern

Area plans include a proposed connector trail

Families want a safe trail to recreate

There is overwhelming support in making a NE trail connector a SFCC priority

What a challenge! Many stakeholders to become involved:

SFCC, MOA parks, planning and zoning, FNBP, utilities, city and state officials, grant organizations and more.

Walked the route with Summer Youth Trails staff

SYEP researching exact boundries and best route.

Met with Alaska Parks Foundation Challenge Grant, it’s a good fit. Grant due this month

Phase 2 Regal Mountain to Campbell Road

Tudor to Regal Mt. along Tudor Road

36th to Klutina along the JBER fence line
