When portability matters, you need the Weekend Warrior - our chainsaw-driven swing blade sawmill.

2 A TRUE INNOVATIONLaunched in early 2013, the Weekend Warrior was developed in association with the New Zealand government (Ministry of Science & Innovation) specifically to address the needs of the Pacific Islands market and now available globally and in the UK and Europe from local distributors.

The sawmill is compact and light enough to carry into the woods and move from tree to tree, enabling you to recover timber productively and very cost-efficiently.

Assembly and disassembly is quick and easy.

3 MILL 4 CUBIC METRES PER DAYThe Weekend Warrior offers a superb solution for the lower end production requirement of 800-1600bf (2-4 cubic meters) per day.

Perfect for the islands where forestation prevents access to high value logs, the arborist that needs value added or simply the weekend warrior.

4 LESS EFFORT, MORE PRODUCTIONIf you are pushing the saw manually through the cut, weight is much more important than horsepower. The main swing blade cutting head weighs a mere 37kg, which makes moving the saw through the cut effortless!

The Weekend Warrior sawmill also delivers full taper adjustability. You can easily align logs to the mill with the manual winch system - no more needing to jack up heavy logs.

The complete sawmill weighs just 165kg (including power head) and was designed to be very quickly and easily dismantled and reassembled.

The small footprint is ideal for woodland milling.

Saw the log as it lays - even with extreme inclines - the carriage is very light to push

Fits either Stihl 066, 084, 088, Husqvarna 395xp and 3120xp - or any other chainsaw equivalent in cc.

Independent adjustment provides incredible flexibility aligning to the log for better recovery

8 THE 2015 MODEL WARRIORAll machines manufactured through 2014 have been improved substantially. The Warrior is a very new and innovative machine. Consequently having sold just under 100 machines in the first year (mostly to the Solomon Islands) and over 100 in 2014 (to North America and Europe), we have opted to redesign many aspects of the machine, taking it to the next level. This has made the operation of the machine much more user friendly.

All machines now sold comply with and are stamped with the CE mark. The European standard for safety.

9 GENERAL 2014 FRAME IMPROVEMENTS

Figure 4, the frame base skid has been made symmetric so that either end can be swapped around. This also removes any tripping hazards associated with the sideways crank.

Figure 5, foot engaged horizontal sizing – this has been introduced to remove the need to bend over while hand locking the sizing gage.

Figure 6, simplified end frames – we have removed the need for the diagonal braces so that the machine has less components to be carried into the bush. We have also made the joints stronger so there is now no requirement for these.

Figure 7, top cover and more durable springs – we have made a number of improvements with the lift winch and its guards.

Figure 8, Anodised beam, cast end sliders and cam locks to secure to the posts. Much easier method to maintain frame rigidity.

Figure 9, vertical sizing is now done at eye level with a simple to read scale system. No more bending required.

Figure 10, beam extensions are available.

10 GENERAL 2014 CARRIAGE IMPROVEMENTS

Figure 11, many new guards have been added for extra safety such as the chainsaw internal guard and the pivot plate guard.

Figure 12, we have added a second push bar at the other side of the carriage for additional safety and for easier transport.

Figure 13, a new improved rubber carriage ‘cam lock’ brake has been introduced.

Figure 14, moved the water bottle so the mill carriage is more balanced. Also introduced a quick release bracket for easy water refills.

14 DELIVERY AND STOCKTurbosawmill UK are investing in Sawmills, add-ons, accessories and spare blade stock for the UK and EU market. With high demand and 6 week lead/manufacture and shipping time we cannot guarantee to have all models in stock at all times.

We accept a 10% deposit to terms( available on request) on orders before shipping the sawmill from our New Zealand Supplier and manufacturer.

15 BACKUP, SUPPORT AND TRAININGThe Warrior comes with a 1 year (return to base) warranty on faulty workmanship. Power head is covered by the manufacturer (3 years on ‘Powered by Honda’ approved use.). Statutory rights are fully covered by sales contract and NFU mutual insurance.

TURBOSAWMILL UK will supply all sawmills to the customer fully assembled and ready to start milling from handover. Basic instruction and guidance on assembly, disassembly and safe sawmilling procedure will be provided as well as an instructional video.

The correct and safe use of the CE certified Turbosawmill and adherence with all HSE and relevant guidance and advice on procedure will be entirely the responsibility of the owner and operator of the equipment.
