Heart….the inner life of the person, it is the character, the intentions, and motivations of a person.
“The Lord does not look at the things we look at. We look at outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
“As water reflects a face, so a person’s heart reflects that person.” “I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart.”

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIT)
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these
is love.
1 Thessalonians 1:3 (NIT)
3 We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by
faith, your labour prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in
our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:8 (NIT
8 But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love
as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
Galatians 5:5-6 (NIT)
5 But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness
for which we hope. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision
has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing
itself through love.
Colossians 1:3-5 (NIT)
3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints— 5 the faith and love that
spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already
heard about in the word of truth, the gospel.

Luke 8:4-8 (NIT) 4 While a large crowd was gathering and people were coming to Jesus from town after town, he told this parable: 5 "A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds of the air ate it up. 6 Some fell on rock, and when it came up, the plants withered because they had no moisture.
7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up with it and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up and yielded a crop, a hundred times more than was sown." When he said this, he called out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
