The Melting Unit is backed by a modern analytical lab using computerized emission spectrometer.

MANUFACTURING FACILITIES

• Annealing furnace for ingot annealing

• Bottom pouring or uphill teeming Ingot casting facility.

• Load cell to control teeming/pouring rate.

• Argon/Nitrogen shrouding during casting/ teeming.

• Ingot dressing and inspection facility

INGOT SHOP-EQUIPMENTS

• Grade and chemical composition as per IS, ASME, SAE, DIN, EN, BS, JIS specifications.

• Low residuals control as per specification

• Low gas levels- Hydrogen: 2 ppm max; Oxygen: 25 ppm max; Nitrogen : 80 ppm max.

• Grain size: 5-8 as per ASTM E-112 (Grade specific)

• Internal soundness as per ASTM E-381 and ASTM E-45 specifications

• Ultrasonic requirements as per specifications
