1. Google Assistant

Welcome to the next generation of search.

Literally, Google search engine has changed the world. Google Assistant, just like its search engine is its natural extension to support “conversational understanding” and make search better support with voice searches.

Like you can ask something “What time is it now?” and the conversation will continue further by saying “And what is the time in UK, now?” and Google’s next-generation search will continue the conversation without skipping a beat. It is just one little example — when it comes to Google, sky is the limit.

2. Google Home

Bring the Google assistant into home

Google Home will likely be competing with Amazon's Echo and it will let the users enjoy, entertainment, to-do-tasks and get answers from Google by simply using conversational speech.

With customizable bases, Google’s Home is designed to meet individual home environments. It is expected to be released later this year. Google aims to stand out with additional features just like capability to sync audio playback to multiple devices as well as to continue with the complex conversational voice commands.

3. Google Allo

Google has now new messaging app - Allo

To compete the top rivals like Facebook in the messaging space, Allo has been launched to set its new app apart.

I.e., if you want to “yell”? The feature simply lets you enlarge the text instead of using caps. You can even shrink text down with making use of the same slider. Another cool feature, which I just loved, is to create responses based on your time conversations. Such smart replies are in response to “photos” a special thanks to photo’s analysis capabilities.

4. Google Duo

Duo is for video calling. And yes, I find it very nifty new feature.

Knock Knock, a notification for video call. It will let the user notify to see the incoming video call feed before answering the call.

Duo simply seamlessly switches between Wi-Fi and mobile data connections, and it manages video and audio in real-time to adjust quality and bandwidth increases or decreases.

Virtual reality is actually an enormous component of Android N, and this is the reason why a new VR platform is named as a Google Daydream.

Daydream is to enhance virtual reality platform as it is aimed to standardize the mobile-based VR experience. The wow factor is it spans both software as well as hardware. Google is in the process of creating reference design for a VR headset and a controller. The selling of this product will be beginning in the late summer.

7. Android Wear 2.0

Google attempts to deliver wearable platform as a big shot. This will now be able to work independently of smart devices. And yes, an app will not be required to connect a mobile device function. Even if your cell phone is on switched off mode or if it is left behind then the app will continue to function as long as the wearable device is connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi or cellular.

It’s time to put an end to all rumors surrounding the Virtual Reality Headset. The reference design of the product has been displayed and it a lot looks like cordless. However, let’s expect it to be more sophisticated as well as efficient than the Cardboard, in terms of access and cost-effectiveness.
