The Current Job Market

• The export and high-tech industries have been hit the hardest. it can be seen by lowered salaries, and shortened work weeks.

• At this time, it’s an employer’s market, as opposed to an employee’s market. Given the shortage of jobs and the abundance of unemployed professionals.

• There is still a demand for sales people, professional people with experience.

lateral – production, development, marketing

• Assessment Center is a behavioral evaluation of the most critical aspects (or competencies) of the job within a group dynamic.

• Assessment Center consists of job-related simulations, interviews, and/or psychological tests.

Good answer is:• Concrete• Specific• Detailed to a point• With examples• Honest, sincere and candid
