1) Executive design of innovative a duel-fuel vessel LNG / diesel)

2) Construction of those parts of the vessel related to LNG engines and propuplsion system: LNG tanks, piping and related equipment and component.

3) Studies to adapt port safety regulation to the innovative vessel operation and LNG bunkering and training needs.

Total budget: 19.316.000 € CEF co-financing: 9.658.000 € (50%)

1) Basic and advanced design for a new LNG port terminal

2) First LNG conversion for road transport vehicles (agreement Codognotto-CNH Industrial for the supply of 40 vehicles IVECO STRALIS dual (LNG) powered

3) Design and implementation of road LNG refuelling stations located along MED adn BAC Corridors

4) Design, construction and testing of a dual-fuel propulsion

system (LNG + diesel) for port tug boat

Follow up initiatives

FURTHER INITIATIVES IN THE PORT OF VENICE

1) Development of Small Scale LNG for industrial and commercial clusters. LNG deployment can be an efficent solution to feed small local networks that are not reached by the SNAM natural gas network.

2) Evaluation of supply and distribution models between BAC and SCAN-MED corridors and the port of Venice.

3) Study on innovative systems for LNG rail transport

(tank container, etc…)
