OverviewThis course delivered by Prosthodontist Dr Mitchell Innes is designed to assist dentists who would like to incorporate single dental implant restorations into their day to day practice in a simple, successful and profitable manner.

Attendees will learn treatment planning, clinical principles and techniques to enable the predictable completion of single and short span bridge implant restorations. This course will suit dentists with no experience through to those looking to improve their implant restorations.

Day 1 Implant Planning Lecture and hands on

• Select appropriate patient cases for single implant restorations

• Understand indications and contra-indications for impant therapy

• Complete an implant treatment plan including stages, timing, protocols and material choices

• Know implant components and armamentarium

• Complete accurate implant impressions – conventionally and digitally

• Successfully fit single implant crowns

• Maintain implant restorations

Day 2 Advanced hands on implant prosthetics

• Single implant crowns- prosthetics only

• Open tray, closed tray and digital impressions

• Custom impression copings

• Chairside and laboratory provisionals

• Custom abutment design

• Restorations- including “direct to fixture”, cement retained and “x-pin”or transverse screw
