    Tomm in the hand. The pistol goes fling and Tomm !hite grabs his hand and bends

    over in pain. Bass rushes over and slams the butt of his pistol on the nape of Tomm

    !hite#s neck. Tomm !hite falls to the ground moaning in pain.( Roll o#er3 'Tomm

    polished and as fanc as some of the saloons in the larger cities and settlements

    in the west. This saloon is in a small mining settlement on the edge of Indian

    countr at the foot of the mountains. The saloon is dust and in ill repair. A set

    of creak swinging gates with slats missing adorns the front door of the saloon.

    The saloon is empt other than an old fat bartender who is leaning on the bar top

    reading a newspaper. A show girl is sitting at the bar. Bass Reeves% a tall% wide

    chest man enters the saloon with a saddle bag slung over his shoulder. The tall

    man% is light skinned and has a handle bar mustache. The man is clearl tired
