From the Desk of National President, James P. Jozwiak Unia Polska w Ameryce Official Publication of the Polish Union of America, a Life Insurance and Fraternal Benefit Society “A Society of people helping people working toward the future.” The Polish Union of America has now been in existance for over 125 years and we continue to strive and to expand programs and activities for our members so that they may experience first hand the pride we take in supporting our Polish heritage and traditions. On June 23rd to the 26th we had an exciting trip called “All Aboard the Amtrak Train Trip” with lodging at the Foxwoods Casino and a tour of Newport, Rhode Island and Boston, Massachusetts. We were fortunate to have 55 travelers, but it was unfortunate that over 30 individuals couldn’t go because they committed too late. On November 18th to the 20th we are offering a delight for the senses! Enjoy seasonal music and thrilling stories at the American Music Theatre and Sight & Sound’s Millennium Theatre holiday shows. Shop for Christmas gifts at Rockvale Square Outlets and Kitchen Kettle Village. View the nostalgic displays of Christmas past, at the National Christmas Center. Enjoy sumptuous dinners and great entertainment! See page 2 for more information. Make your reservation today so you won’t be disappointed. On August 1st, the Polish Union of America held their annual family picnic. The members, their families, and guests enjoyed fried chicken, salads, desserts with fun games and many prizes! Some of the children enjoyed the swimming pool at the West Seneca Town Park. As general agent for the First Catholic Slovac Ladies Association, Polish Falcons of America, and Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, I have the ability to provide you with various insurance and annuity products that best suit your needs. Don’t miss out on the 3.5% annuity rate being offered now. The Polish Union of America congratulates the sixteen scholarship recipients and wish them much success in their future plans. Five received named scholarship awards and eleven recieved the National Board Scholarship Award. Our fraternal is honored to be a part of helping them reach their academic goals. Our National Board approved the sale the Polish Union of America building in West Seneca, because of the property’s high taxes, utilities, and maintenance. They thought that it was more important to keep helping our members with their insurance and financial needs and promoting our Polish culture and activities. I was able to save realty costs by finding a buyer who was willing to lease a portion of the building to the Polish Union of America. This gave us the opportunity to stay in our same location for as long as we wish, and leaving the sign and the building in the Polish Union of America name. They’re almost here... Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and the New Year. We can all use extra cash for our holiday expenses. Back by popular demand we are offering again the Polish Union of America’s Cash for Christmas! This year it is bigger and better with early bird specials for Halloween and Thanksgiving! Go to page 3 for more information. The Polish Union of America has now been in existance for over 125 years and we continue to strive and to expand programs and activities for our members so that they may experience first hand the pride we take in

supporting our Polish heritage and traditions.

On August 1st, the Polish Union of America held their annual family picnic.

The members, their families, and guests enjoyed fried chicken, salads, desserts with fun games and many prizes! Some of the children enjoyed the swimming pool at the West Seneca Town Park.As general agent for the First Catholic Slovac Ladies Association, Polish Falcons of America, and Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, I have the ability to provide you with various insurance and annuity products that best suit your needs.
