Please note that entries are taken on the day, (*Pony Tales ponies will need to be booked in advance); and there will be practise rounds in between the divisions as the jumps go up, as per terms and conditions in the programme.

A Show Hunter Ist

Reel NZ Productions Winter Showhunter Series 2012 kicks off with its Ist of three shows at Pony Tales on Sunday 24th June. Our 1st Open show!!

Come join the fun and a great day at Pony Tales. Designed by Leigh Taylor, these shows are casual schooling shows; that cater for all levels of riders and horses.

FROM THE HORSES MOUTH....Horses, horses I love horses... Lately it seems each week a new horse arrives. Abby is calling me a pony hoarder. But they are so lovely: Mal - hes a good horse. Piata - she’s so pretty. Bonny - now she will be good! umm I think I have got more too - Abby may be right...but

The Tuff Plastics poo machine has been making light work of grooming the paddocks and luckily I really enjoy whizzing around making the place clean.

And with the hunt season in full swing they are all in work. Many of our adult riders have been out for a hunt or 2 or 3 on Pony Tales horses.

And what fun we have had! Greg is taking our ladies over full wire fences, hedges - infact anywhere we go, Greg is keen! Mal is great too - if I can get him out of school for the day!

The yard is looking the best ever. Tania (Wonder Woman)has done a fantastic job of painting and tidying up. thankyou Tania.

Adopt-a-Pony is a cost effective way to introduce children to the fun of horse riding & pony care. It is also a great alternative or start to the usual weekly lesson, giving children the opportunity to ride & take care of their ‘own’ pony. Designed to create a team environment, Pony Tales older students mentor the young riders & take part in daily horsey duties. Everyone is well supervised & enjoy group activities and games with professional instruction.
