Project Funding (Capital) & Sustainability

INR 65 Mio committed so far and some further commitments are under discussion towards purchase of equipment and facilities

Operational Funding It is expected to be provided by the institution engaged in managing the end to end operation of the training institute to ensure sustainability.

Project Grants & Sponsorship

• ISCE is seeking partnerships / contributions from Swiss, European and Indian corporates. ISCE prefers wider & ongoing participation from Industry & all large or small contributions are most welcome.

• Board position &/or naming of facilities within ISCE centre in recognition of major contributions.

• Student sponsorships, annual contribution to operating funds, commitments from CSR funding is requested

• ISCE has received FCRA approval for receiving donations from foreign entities & further approvals for major contributions can be requested. Syngenta Foundation India (SFI), one of the promoters of ISCE is also eligible for receiving foreign contributions.

• ISCE will qualify for CSR funding from foreign entities from 2020 onwards. However, in the meanwhile, contributions to ISCE project thru SFI will fully qualify for CSR funding.

CEA – Temporary facility with Classroom & office in customised containers. Additionally, a poly house & green house in 1.5 acre area

CEA Building –Ground + 1 Structure with an approx. area of 7500 sq.ft. housing 3 classrooms , meeting rooms, staff room and Admin area .

CEM – part A : Ground + first floor structure with labs, classrooms, workshop and admin necessary to start a Diploma course in Mechatronics in Sept 2021

CEM – part B : Second + Third floor structure with more labs, classrooms, utility area necessary to start asecond Diploma stream i.e. Electronics in Sept 2022

CEM - Part C :A state-of-the-art Auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 people.This will be constructed in the year 2023.

Present status & way forward : a phased approach

Phase 1 : CEA Temporary Facility

• Since May 2017, CEA has started conducting training courses for ATA ( Agri Technical Assistant ) in a temporary facility at theISCEP – 5 Acre land at Koregaon Bhima . 15 batches of 22 to 30 students each ( including courses conducted at remote locations)have been trained till date. Out of these students, 87% of those interested in getting jobs have been suitably placed in approx. 70different Agri. based companies. A Green house and a Poly house has been set up in 1.5 Acres area on the same 5 Acres landwhere vegetable cultivation is done. This is used to provide practical, hands on training to ATA course participants.

NTTF – Nettur Technical Training Foundation – Key information

• NTTF -an educational Foundation established in 1959 is a living symbol of Indo-Swiss co-operation aimed at promoting purposefuleducation for the Indian youth. Foundation was actively supported by generous assistance from Swiss Government. Swiss Dev. Co-operation. Govt. of India and state Governments also extended the support.

• NTTF operates 20 centers across 16 states. Total no of Diplomas awarded in 2018 were 3800. Operate 8 difference engineeringdiploma courses in Tool & Dye making, Mechatronics, Computer engineering, IT, Manufacturing technology ,Electronics &Electrical engineering .

• Out of these 20 centers, 8 are established in partnership with Industry associates – i.e. Industry has provided capital infrastructureand NTTF manages the operation

• Course Curriculum is reviewed by syllabus committee & altered on regular basis to suit the industry needs & in- line withdevelopment in technology.

• Offers- Diploma ( 3 years), Post Diploma ( 1 year) and Post Graduate Programs.

• NTTF also provides a unique opportunity to pursue German “ Bachelor of Engineering” degree( B.Eng.)along with NTTF’s Diplomaprogram in India in Tool & Dye making & Mechatronics, in just 3 years ( entry qualification 12th pass with min 50% marks in Mathsand Science) under their Concurrent Program. The graduated students can opt for employment in India or pursue Master’s Degreeprogram in Europe or UK.

• Some of the Universities have recognized NTTF Diploma for further studies / lateral entry to B.E./B.Tech. ( e.g. Malaysia University)

• NTTF is a certified for ISO 9001,QMS 14001, EMS, &BS OHSAS 18001 ( Occupational health & Safety management system).

• Offers 2 to 6 months short term skill dev courses in precision machining, Welding technician, CNC Technology, Tool & dye making,Computer application , electronic technician etc.

• NTTF Creates most sought-after Trainees through Customer-focused Programs catering to the Needs of the Society – Focus onAttitude, Skill & Knowledge
