    A rumba is a Cuban dance in 8 quavers that ischaracterised by 3+3+2 rhythmic groupings.

    Learn the rumba rhythm as a class.

    In a small group, perform the above patterns as accompaniment ostinati (an accompanimentof repeated patterns) on classroom percussion instruments.

    In addition, another student will keep the beat on a drum and the rest of the class will singMango Walk at the same time.
