A Scoot Game
Let’s Get Fancy in First Amanda Hagaman 2013
Thanks for Downloading Scoot games are a super fun way to get your kids moving and provide lots of skill
practice at the same time! To prepare the game, print and laminate the game cards.
Tape or place each card to a desk in your classroom. To play, students will move
from desk to desk and write the corresponding fraction on their recording sheet. I like
to play music as a signal that it’s time to scoot to the next seat. It’s VERY helpful to
practice “scooting” a few times before playing the game so the students know where
they’re supposed to go next. Happy Teaching!
