Kathy Bedard, Superintendent.

“One of the important outcomes of renovating and seismically updating the school, including the gymnasium and the library, is that Alert Bay School became one of the safest schools in the district”

• “Taking into account the importance of the “3 R’s”, we ‘recycled’ an older building, ‘reduced’ the footprint of the school, and ‘reused’ parts of the original school, including furniture, cabinets, and treasured artwork”
