On the day of the train, again, all reasonable efforts, within the control of the organisers, will be made to ensure that the train runs as planned but they cannot accept any responsibility for delays, mishaps, alterations or curtailment of the tour from situations outside their control. In adverse conditions the train operating company may feel the need to run with a diesel locomotive attached to the rear as a precaution. During the return journey at set down stations or locomotive change stops, at short or no notice the train may leave before booked time due to Network Rail operational reasons. It is your responsibility to ensure you are on board the train when it departs. The Organisers cannot accept any responsibility for the options under the control of third parties and are only responsible to return passengers to their joining stations. Your booking is taken as constituting acceptance of these conditions. Other than due to cancellation by the Organisers, no refund is available once a booking has been confirmed; the Organisers also reserve the right to charge an administration fee of £5.00 for any alteration to the details of travel requested by the client after confirmation has been given. The Organisers reserve the right to refuse access to, or remove person or persons from the train who are considered to be using inappropriate behaviour that may spoil the enjoyment of other person or persons on the train. Due to the possibility of passengers who lean out of carriage windows being struck by lineside trees, bridges, tunnels or passing trains, and because of the very fine particles that are emitted from the locomotive which will result in injury to eyes, leaning out of carriage windows is forbidden. The Organisers reserve the right to remove any passenger from the train who chooses to ignore this notice.
