ATTENTION EXHIBITORS THE FORT WORTH KENNEL CLUB, INC. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO USE ADDITIONAL BUILDINGS OR SPACE WITHIN THE WILL ROGERS CENTER SHOULD THE ENTRY WARRANT IT.

At the present time, the City of Fort Worth charges a parking fee of $10.00 per day for vehi-cles that park in the WRMC complex, however they reserve the right to change it at any time. Exhibitors will be able to purchase a multi-day parking pass which will allow in/out access on day of arrival.

The Show Site will be available to exhibitors around 12:00 noon Thursday. The club reserves the right to alter this time depending on weather conditions and/or the condition of the building. Unloading will be supervised by members of the Club or their designated representatives, to insure orderly access into the building. All dogs must be removed from the show site by one hour following the completion of Best In Show on Sunday.

The Large Exhibit Building is climate controlled. No soft-sided crates are allowed in the LARGE Exhibit Hall (Texas Room).

ALL BREED JUDGING WILL BE IN THE MAIN BUILDING (TEXAS ROOM & ROUND UP INN). When the grooming area in the main building is deemed to be FULL, exhibitors will be required to set up in the newly renovated Cattle Barn #1.

OBEDIENCE/RALLY WILL BE HELD IN THE BROWN-LUPTON BUILDING. AIR CONDITIONED/MAT-TED CONCRETE FLOORS.

The Large Exhibits Building PLUS Barn 1 will be available for grooming until one hour after Best in Show on Sunday.

GENERAL

Exhibitors are expected to comply with all Club rules as laid out and enforced by the Fort Worth Kennel Club, Inc.

Dogs may not be exercised outside the show building on the grass or sidewalks or paved parking lots of Will Rogers Complex, the Museum or the Art Center.

All Groups will be judged in the Large Exhibit Building and may be judged two at a time.

All catalogs will be sold. None will be given away.

Dogs must not be tied to bushes, shrubs, trees or other permanent fixtures.

The Fort Worth Kennel Club, Inc., Show Superintendent or the City of Fort Worth will not be responsible for the loss of or damage to any dog exhibited, or for possessions of any exhibitor, whether the result of an accident or any other cause. It is distinctly understood that every dog at this show is in the care and custody of his owner or handler during the entire time the dog is in the show buildings or the grounds at Will Rogers Complex. The welfare of an exhibitor's child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the day of the show.

A night watchman will be on duty Thursday through Saturday night as a courtesy only.

All Dogs present must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when exercising.

Class Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent’s Office must be advised at once. The Superintendents and show-giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over.

No gasoline or diesel generators are permitted inside any building.

The Fort Worth Kennel Club, Inc. is not responsible for the actions or products of the commercial vendors at this show.

There will be no space provided for unentered dogs at this show.

GROOMING AND CRATING

PLEASE NOTE: The grooming area in the Large Exhibit Building will be CLOSED to additional crates, equipment, etc. when the Show Committee determines the area to be FULL. Additional space is available in Cattle Barn #1. The grooming areas and crating set up in the Large Exhibit Building will be handled in the following manner:

A member of the Show Committee will direct every exhibitor with the EXACT placement of their crates, grooming tables, etc for their area. EACH designated grooming space will be split length ways down the middle with tape. All crates will be placed in an IDENTICAL FASHION, as directed by the Show Committee.

Crating and grooming areas are allotted on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. No crating area inside any building may be reserved or saved by roping off, placing cones, chairs, tables, equip-ment or any other means you may think to employ.

No crates or grooming tables will be allowed at ring side in the Large Exhibits Building, but there will be a designated area for crates & tables between the rings.

The Club reserves the right to restrict the number of grooming tables and to rearrange grooming areas and set-ups as required by circumstances for the safety and convenience of all. THIS INCLUDES MOVING CRATES, TABLES AND OTHER EQUIPMENT.

ALL CRATES, INCLUDING WIRE CRATES, MUST BE STACKED.

Exhibitors and handlers will be held responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates.

No rugs or mats are allowed in the grooming area.

Ringside chairs are NOT to be taken to grooming area.

Absolutely no private exercise pens will be allowed in the Large Exhibits Building at anytime.

CATTLE BARN #1

Private exercise pens will be allowed in Cattle Barn #1 as space provides.

Public exercise pens will be provided and must be attended by owner or handler while in use.

Crates may not be set up in the west lot or in the area north of the building. All private exercise pens outside the building must be in areas designated by the Club.

No dogs or crates are permitted in the underground garage.

PARKING REGULATIONS

Parking to unload: 20 minutes only! Violators are subject to being ticketed and towed.

No RV or trailer parking in the lot to the west of the Large Exhibits Building. There are MANY RV hookups (30 & 50) & a dump station. They do not take reservations, however if you have any RV questions, please call (817) 991-8497 for additional information. ALL VEHICLES LARGER THAN THE STANDARD VAN MUST PARK IN THE LOTS ONE BLOCK SOUTH OF THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND HISTORY on Trail Drive. The area next to the Swine Building is paid RV parking ONLY (30 amps only).

RV PARKING is on a first come, first served basis & is handled directly by WRMC. RV SPACES WILL BE INVOICED TO EXHIBITORS AT THE PREVAILING RATE FOR 30-AMP OR 50-AMP SERVICE, BASED UPON AVAILABLITY.

Loading & unloading is permitted of the Large Exhibit Building on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the north entrance of the building and from the west parking lot in the area of the steps leading to the north entrance.

Loading/unloading of dogs that are crating/grooming in Cattle Barn #1, will be able to drive thru the Promenade between the two barns. Loading/unloading is under cover.

Parking on marked lots will have to be inside the designated lines. No vehicles will be permitted to extend into the fire lanes. No single vehicle will be permitted to occupy more than one space.

All parking will be on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED basis. Spaces may not be saved.

Positively no dumping of drain or holding tanks. Filling of water tanks from any water source on the Will Rogers Complex will not be permitted.

The Show Committee reserves the right to enter or authorize entrance to a vehicle using whatever means necessary to rescue dogs in distress. All persons attending this dog show hereby waive any claim for damages against the club for such removal.

Violators of these parking regulations will be prosecuted and vehicles towed away, at the owner’s expense, without notice.

EXTENSION CORD REQUIREMENTS

The City of Fort Worth enforces the 1996 National Electrical Code to ensure the public is not exposed to electrical hazards. This Code has specific requirements for the type of extension cords that may be used and how they are used.

If extension cords are used at the Will Rogers Memorial Complex, Ground Fault Circuit Interrupt Protection (GFCI) is required. This cord is sold at most building or electrical supply stores. These cords are easly recognized as they have a test and a reset button on the cord. Most of these cords have the words “GFCI protected” printed on the cord.

All 120-volt extension cords shall be three wire grounding type cords (recognized by the three-prong plug on the end of the cord). Frayed or damaged cords may not be used. Extension cords may not be placed through doorways.

These requirements will help eliminate harmful or fatal electrical hazards to you and/or your ani-mals. City staff, including Fire Inspectors and Electrical Inspectors will check the premises from time to time for your compliance.
