joining the Vecellio Group in the 1970s, Ranger continued its
growth, expanding into numerous locations in the northeast,

Award from the National Asphalt Pavement Association for the

s a member of the Vecellio Group, our foundation for success dates back to 1900,
when young Enrico Vecellio began contracting in southern West Virginia. He
entered the emerging road-building industry and built several thriving businesses,
establishing a reputation for quality and integrity that has endured for generations.
Enricos son, Leo Vecellio, grew up in the family business. After returning from college and
the Army, Leo also became a licensed contractor. In 1938 Enrico, Leo, and his brother-
in-law Gene Grogan founded Vecellio & Grogan, the flagship company of the Vecellio
Group, providing heavy/highway construction in the mid-Atlantic states and beyond.

southeastern U.S. and beyond.
Today, the Group includes Vecellio &
Grogan; North Carolina-based Sharpe
Bros.; and three Florida-based opera-

Vecenergy, the groups petroleum
division; and White Rock Quarries, a
