marine crews to its other group companies, its own vessels, vessels chartered and
provided to customers and for vessels it manages or crews for owners. Fleet Change
currently maintains a crewing workforce of over 500 ranging from the top officers

GCE uses abseiling teams to fully inspect jack up rigs, including tanks, legs and other
areas affected by corrosion.
Reports are presented in clear and user friendly formats that fulfil ABS requirements
and become the working document for GCE during steel replacement programs
conducted in the field while the rigs continue to operate.
14
Replacing (Tank) steel in the field whilst the rig remains fully operational requires
detailed planning, especially where rig moves are involved when tanks are filled with
sea water

2. Surface preparation on Jack-up Legs
15
3. Hull sides

16
Tanks – Internal coating
Corrosion and erosion eat away at not only at materials and the working lives of high
capital cost equipment. GCE’s coating materials and knowhow removes the necessity
for metal replacement and the high cost that this would incur.
GCE has an enviable reputation for providing its clients with the services they require
carried out in a safe and timely manner, and to budget.
