Why a postgraduate course?
• e-Learning is pervading any sector of both the labour market and public administrations and services, including the school system.
• e-learning has considerably increased in school, university and professional systems of education, supported by remarkable investments connected to the ongoing reforms of the educational system and to specific initiatives from the Government for on-line training.
Aims of Educational Training (1/2)
• Organizing and/or managing complex training activities based on the integrated use of Information and Communication Technologies;
• Applying know-how in the actual reality by analyzing contexts, to detect their specific features and thus to make use of the best strategies possible;
• On every occasion, selecting and using the most appropriate methodologies for each learning environment by exploiting the interactive potentialities of networks and the simulative power of software.
Aims of Educational Training (2/2)
• Developing in each trainee the proper skills to take his best place in a working environment, featured by high innovation and full development;
• Informing, training and coordinating teachers in service in their schools with the aim of – (i) promoting highly innovative teaching
methodologies through a responsible and proper use of e-learning;
– (ii) supporting the teaching activities which make a wide use of information and communication technologies.
The Teaching Format
It is made up by 5 teaching modules
The methodology applied is blended e-learning
• On-line training
• Three on-site meetings for each of the first 4 modules
The modules1- Educational and learning technologies(provided by the University of Macerata – Faculty of Educational Training
Science)2- ITC for e-learning(provided by Le Marche Polytechnic University – Faculty of Engineering)3 – Projecting and managing on-line teaching(provided by the University of Urbino – Faculty of Sociology – Faculty of
Educational Training Science)4 – Modules for laboratory(provided by the University of Camerino - Faculty of Science and
Technology)5- Project work and final paper (They will be carried out under the supervision of the 4 universities involved)
Project work and final paper
Trainees are demanded to develop and carry out an e-learning experimental project work, possibly in the school they are in service at.
The organization of project groups will be encouraged with the aim of facilitating:
• Cooperation among teachers (even from different school grades and levels)
• Sharing of topics / projects / teaching paths• Manutability and monitoring of activities.
A three-level survey: customer satisfaction; evaluation of process; evaluation of competences and of the follow-up process of professional practices.
The four universities which manage the modules are also responsible for the evaluation of the final learning results.

Provided by CREMIT - Centro di Ricerca sull’Educazione ai Media, all’Informazione e alla Tecnologia – The Catholic University of Milan in cooperation with Le Marche Universities.
