Introducing the Craft:“Our Big Question is: “Can Anyone Tell Me What the LORD is Like? We’ve learned that “He’s Not Like Anyone Else… He Can Do Whatever He Wants to Do.” That’s something very good to know. But many people don’t know that. So do you know what God wants us to do? He wants us to go and tell others this very important news. So today we are going to make something we can show and tell them, too. Here’s what it looks like…(Hold up example of craft)
Directions1. Show the children your finished craft, reading the poem and pointing to the pictures as you read it.2. Have the children decorate with markers/crayons the pictures. 3. Allow them to add any extra decorating elements you have for them.4. Let pictures dry (if needed). 5. Fold cards down middle. 6. Make sure child’s name is written on craft.
DiscussionThis is an especially good time to re-read the key concepts and discuss them. See Deep Down Discussion Sheet for possible questions to talk about.
Wrapping Up:“Our Big Question is: “Can Anybody Tell Me What the LORD Is Like? We’ve learned that “He’s Not Like Anyone Else...He Can Do Anything He Wants to Do!” Let’s use our pictures to tell others about how mighty the LORD is.” Practice saying the poem as you point to the pictures.

Can Anybody Tell Me What the LORD Is Like? He’s Not Like Anyone Else...He Can Do Anything He Wants to Do! There will never be any enemy who is more powerful than the LORD. The LORD and His good plans will always win. King Hezekiah prayed to the LORD to rescue the people and what a rescue the LORD provided! He will always do what is best for His people and will always show that He is the one, true God. Nothing can hold Him back! And who knows this most of all? God’s people—all who turn away from their sins and trust in Jesus as their Savior. Ask God to help you become one of His people. He loves to help us.
