A Place for You on
Wednesday Nights!
It is true that we do not offer Wednesday evening supper in
July (so volunteers can take a break). Supper will return
Wednesday, August 7. However, there are still a number of
ways you can be fed spiritually and serve the Lord at
Haywood Hills on Wednesday evenings.
5:30 p.m.-6:15 p.m. Next Level Prayer. The pastor will host
a prayer time for all ages each Wednesday in July, in room
ED101. The room will also be open from 6:00-7:00 pm for
individuals or small groups to pray.
5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Maximizing Our Facilities. Our
trustees, Mary Lackey, Kevin Evans, and Dickie Malone, are
working hard to improve our campus and buildings. On
Wednesday evenings in July, Kevin Evans is inviting all
members to help clean up, fix up, and organize rooms that
especially need attention. There are jobs for every skill level
and age. Speak to Kevin about how you can help or just join
them this Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
We will not have regular Wednesday activities for youth,
children, or preschool in July. However, they may join in the
prayer time, work projects, or other ministries with
permission from their parent(s).
6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. -ESL (English as a Second Language)
will continue to meet in July. It is led by Kay Wells and
Roena Davis. HIS (Hands In Service) Ministry plans to meet
each Wednesday in July. It is led by Wanda Sory.
This year the Missions Committee will be
making “homework bags” for the families at
Haywood Elementary. Please help them by
donating any of the following items. If you

Rhonda McConnell.

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil,
who put darkness for light and light for
darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for
bitter.
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and
clever in their own sight.
