One destination – two countriesChoose Skåne and you’ll get Denmark too. The countries are less than half an hour apart thanks to the Öresund Bridge. Bring your event to Skåne and tap into a market of 3.6 million people.

The Swedish Open tennis championship in the seaside town of Båstad attracts some of the game’s biggest names.

Skåne – an eventful part of Europe

re you looking to hold an exceptional event? Then look no further than Skåne, in southern-most Sweden. An expansive economy and

excellent links to the world have made Skåne one of Europe’s top events destinations. Located at a busy international crossroads, we are the perfect choice for conferences, trade fairs, and sporting and cultural events.

Access is easy from all parts of Europe. Scandinavia’s largest airport is just 20 minutes away in Copenhagen. An excellent public transport network provides rapid transit. Combine this with one of the safest environ-ments in Europe and you truly have the best of both worlds.

Inspirational settingAn array of modern arenas makes Skåne an ideal location – whether for a major conference or small meeting. Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg and Kristianstad all have top-class venues.

Facilities are close to city centres, within easy reach of hotels and shopping. Accommodation ranges from five-star hotels to budget alternatives.

Major successes include the 2011 World Scout Jam-boree in Kristianstad, which attracted 38,000 young participants and tens of thousands of visitors, and the 2011 men’s World Championship in Handball.

Combining centuries of heritage with contemporary facilities and first-class service, Skåne is a natural meet-ing point. An inspirational setting for your event.
