RIOMAHAS BEEN DESIGNING &MANUFACTURING TEXTILES FOR OVER 40 YEARS
Rioma was originated in the seventies as a result of the passion felt by its founder Mr. José Ríos for the world of fashion and home decoration. He opened up a market which was completely new in the south of Spain and in the first few years he established what would become one of the hallmarks of the firm: its floral and contemporary prints. At present we export to more than 80 countries and the intense, specialized work carried out by our Design department develops over one
hundred new ideas each year. Today Rioma’s designs stand out in the world of fashion and home decoration, with a mixture of textures, a bold combination of colours and an exclusive, very personal touch. Rioma is situated in the south of Spain (Montilla) in modern premises which consist of 4,500 square metres devoted to the area of design and management and over 25,000 square metres to manufacture and storage.

FOR TEXTILES
The intense efforts of our Design department is what distinguishes us, as over a hundred new proposals are developed each year. Rioma has an extensive collection of designs which include innumerable styles and valuable samples of nineteenth century work.
In Rioma we work with all kinds of prints using the latest technology and our facilities have the most advanced machinery for laser and digital print. We also have the necessary equipment for packaging, width full and spine rolling. A personalized cut length service is also available.

With a stock of more than 4 million metres of material, we are able to supply in less than 72 hours to Spain and one week to the rest of the world*. Our automated system of traceability tracks the product from its source right through to the end customer.
WE CONTINUE TO LEAD INAVANT-GARDE CREATION OF NEW FABRICS
After several years of research, Rioma has created ZettA, the first synthetic wool with high resistance for decoration and a soft, warm feel.
Our first fabrics, chintzes, created a trend in curtains with bright, multicoloured prints. In the eighties, they were followed by collections with neon sailcloth and with ethnic kilims of worldwide fame. Another great success was Baghera, the best-selling fabric in the world.Today, with the innovative ZettA, we are the first to dress the home in a modern line of drapery inspired by ancient traditions.
The classical style of home decoration is inspired by ancient designs and documents which are over 100 years old, kept in the collection of works of art, tapestries, paintings
and sculptures acquired since the founding of the firm. We collaborate with the best studios in the world in the design of our own designs.
MOVED BY INNOVATION & DESIGN
COLOURS FOR LIVERioma is internationally recognized for the personal hallmark of its floral designs and its contemporary style of the latest trends in vivid colours. We have an avant-garde line of upholstery which is notable for its wide range of colours: up to 90 different colours for each product.
Rioma’s Fashion Line explores new styles and designs each year based on the latest world trends. What makes it remarkable is the way it plays with textures, qualities and bold colour proposals in floral, geometrical, tribal and checked prints.
Our designs have been leaders on cat-walks, in showrooms and in fashion shows in exclusive firms which specialize in brides, parties and children. We have a special service to personalize designs by choosing fabric, colour and size.

We satisfy the most demanding expectations with analyses and internal tests in our laboratory which has the ISO 9001 certificate.
We use Microsue® thread to guarantee maximum durability of our products. Our fabrics have Resistant® anti-stain treatment to facilitate cleaning and everyday use.
As specialists in colour we work exclusively with high range tints, Tenacil®, which afford us the most intense and long-lasting colours. Besides, we have the Oeko-Tex® certificate which fulfills the European environmental norms for products which come into direct contact with the skin.
