Positive Trends
• Crimes committed by young people in 2012/2013o down 22% on previous year ando half of what it was in 2008/2009
• Young people referred to Children’s Reporter has decreased for the sixth year in successiono Care and protection referrals down 27.5% since 2011/2012o Offence grounds referrals down 35% since 2011/2012
• Since 2005/2006, offence referrals to SCRA have decreased by 77%
