The central issues are: 1. State of the Enlightenment issue and its meaning for knowledge today, 2. The connected History of scientific expeditions and enlightened nodes of knowledge production beyond Europe, 3. Networks and modes of exchange and knowledge trafficking, 4. The kinetic History of collections and objects of modern knowledge, 5. The conceptual History of the Enlightenment, the Colony and the Revolution.

Financial help - FLACSO will award 5 scholarships once the minimum number of students is registered for the opening of the course. 3 scholarships will be for students outside FLACSO.
Who is it for? - This course is aimed at doctorate and masters students interes-ted in history and philosophy of knowledge and science; to professors interested in this field of studies; public officials and professionals linked to environmental and human development projects, archives, libraries, laboratories and museums.
Certifications - FLACSO will only grant certificates of approval to those students who have attended 80% of the classes of the course and have submitted requi-red and approved works.
