Message From Head of The Department

It is with great enthusiasm that we get before you the 17th issue of

Reflection. I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Mr. B. Y.

Pawar for his efforts and dedication in publishing Reflection.

This internal newsletter aims to put in front of you the achievements of

the staff and students and various activities conducted during the semester.

The newsletter will continue to be a reflection of various activities and events

happening in the department.

Days’ Celebration

1. Digital Renaissance 2018 : An inter-college technical event/competition organized by ACE (The Association of Computer Engineers) of the Com-puter Department. Four different events run in parallel over the course of a day. Each event is managed by 2 coordinators, 4 or more volunteers as well as 1 teacher/staff coordinators. Event was on Day and Date: 22nd - 23rd March 2018 .The event com-menced with inauguration by the hands of the Principal Dr. A.A.Keste ,Vice Principle Dr.V.N.Raibhole , Head of Depart-ment Dr.Mrs.N.F.Shaikh in the presence of the staff and the student coordinators.

2. Parent Teacher Meeting : This semester were conducted on 24th March 2018 respective-ly. In this meeting interaction of Parent teachers and class teachers of all classes with parents of students was arranged. Meeting started with the address of HoD and followed by the interaction session with parents.

3. Astiva Event:7th Anniversary, Astitva -2018 and Handover Ceremony: The session started at 2:00 pm with the inauguration on the Astitva Board on the all three Departments and concluded at 4:00p.m. The esteemed faculty and Guest of Honor Mr.Madhav Kanitkar, Principal Dr. A. A. Keste, Vice Princi-pal Prof. V. N. Raibhole, Prof. N. F. Shaikh (HOD Comput-er Department), Prof. Kota (Astitva Founder) and Prof.V.N.Chougule (HOD Mechanical Department) marked their presence.

4. Birthday Celebration of Staff Members: The event commenced with Cake cutting by respected faculties in the presence of Head of Department Dr. (Mrs). N.F.Shaikh and all the staff. This is a Departmental level activity.

5. International Women's Day 2018: This year Women’s day “Women The Architect of Society” was celebrated in college in association with Odser Charitable Trust on 8th March 2018 from 10:00 to 12:00 noon. The pro-gram started with Lamp Lighting followed by Welcome Speech of Guest Mrs. Aiyola Penkar and introduction to Odser by Dr. Prem Sethi Founder Odser Charitable Trust. On the occasion of Women’s Day, Mrs. Vidya Raut (Police Sub-Inspector Koregaon Park Police Station) expressed her willing-ness to the Principal and Vice-Principal to address the staff of

Departmental Events A Guest Lecture was organized on "Career Guidance on Higher Studies " for TE1 and

TE2 students on 17th January 2018 by Mr. Chetan Jain MD, Study Smart Academy, Pune.

A Guest Lecture was organized on "Career Guidance on Higher Studies (MS)" for BE stu-

dents on 17th January 2018 by Mr. Kailash Singh Maurya, Alumni of MESCOE (Pursuing

MS at University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA)

A Guest Lecture was organized on “Business Analytics and Digital Marketing” for TE Stu-

dents on 01st February 2018 .The session speaker was Mr. Siji Varghese (CEO & Founder,

Digisas Pvt. Ltd ).

A Guest Lecture was organized on “Selenium Automated Testing Tool” for BE Ist and IInd

Shift Students on 20th Feb 2018 .The session speaker was Mr. Santosh Randive . (Test Man-

ager, Emphatech Pvt Ltd.).

A workshop was organized on “Introduction to LATEX” for TE-2 and TE IInd Shift Stu-

dents on 12th and 13th Sept 2017 by Ms. Shubhangi E. Ingale MESCOE ,Assistant Professor.
