Roads and Transport Authority signed a Memorandum of understanding with the Labor Affairs of the Emirate of Dubai. The Memorandum for promoting awareness for workers as well as coordinating and organizing educational events in the field of traffic safety. Child

Traffic Awareness Department at Latifa Hospital organized an awareness workshop entitled “Child Safety” to focus on the safety of children in the vehicle and explain the importance of the child’s seat and how to install it. During the visit, awareness leaflets and gifts in kind were distributed.

Traffic Department participated in

the “Truck Tyres Safety” campaign,

organized by Dubai Police, in the

vegetable and fruit market. The

campaign, in cooperation with Michelin

Tyres, included inspecting truck tyres,

examination from Prime Hospital and

Day

On the occasion of the 47th National Day, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) with the Health Authority and Johnson Baby participated in the distribution of 200 Child Car Seat to newly born mothers in public and private hospitals of Dubai.

Traffic Department in cooperation with Human Resources and Development Department hold a training course for Traffic Awareness and Dubai Police employees. The training was about coaching the employees how to apply the Traffic Awareness manual in the campaigns and events carried out by the Section based on best global practices.
