Murska roller mills are at present in use all over the globe. They help to protect the environment and save money and time for far-mers. Murska mills are well-known for their great capacity and durable rollers. True enough: one of our main targets is to make our customers satisfied, even surprise them positively. Murska roller mills are equipped with specially reinforced spring-loaded rollers. The springs give way if foreign objects, such as sto-nes among the grain, should pass between the rollers and the rolling may continue without interruption. On the other hand, this ex-tends the service life of the rollers. Depending on the model, the rollers can withstand the milling of tens of million kilos. Thanks to the centralized lubrication system, maintenance of the mills is easy. Murska mills are designed to operate flawlessly under the condi-tions prevailing in Finland both for moist and dry grain. Murska mills are top Finnish products that last like diamonds. Murska 350 S2The mill has attachment points for a three-point linkage and is usually powered by a tractor. Horsepower requirement 30-40 hp and 15 kW if powered by electric motor. Crimping capacity for moist grain, 5 t/h, and for dry grain, 4 t/h. Equipped with hardened rollers the mill is suitable, in shared ownership, for crimping dry grain and, in private ownership, for crimping moist grain.

Murska 700 S2Twice the capacity of the 350 S2 -model. Per-fectly suited to farms with large quantities of grain to be crimped that require a higher crim-ping output. The mill has attachment points for a three-point linkage and is usually powered by a tractor. Horsepower requirement 60-70 hp and 30 kW if powered by an electric mo-

tor. Like the smaller model, the 700 S2 is also equipped with belt-driven rollers

and is primarily in-tended for crim-ping moist grain.

Roller mill of a profitable farm!

Murska 1000 HD The specification of the next larger model in the HD range, the 1000 HD, differs from the 700 HD only by its longer rollers with crimping capacity of 15 t/h. The efficient operation of this mill requires a tractor of 80-90 horsepower. The mill is capable of milling 12 t/h feed of dry grain. The Murska 350-1000 mills can be transported on a trailer. The trailer may be equipped with two acid barrel stands for barrels of 200 l each.

Murska 1400 S 2x2The Murska 1400 S 2x2 is equipped with a unique 4-gear-driven roller cassette with crimping capacity of up to 30 t/h. The horsepower requirement is 100-110 hp. The mill is equipped with a trailer of its own. This means it is an ideal machine for crimping large quantities of feed grain in a short time. On the trailer the mill may be transported in less time from one work site to another.

Murska 2000 S 2x2To our knowledge, the most efficient roller mill in the world. The technical specifications are the same as for the smaller 1400 S 2x2 model, except for the crimping capacity, which is 40 t/h. This should be enough for even the busiest farmers or contractors. We have developed an ideal preservation method for feed grain. Bagging the grain in a plastic tube is an easy low-cost solution. Investment in expensive silos and buildings are not required. The Murska Bagger, Murska 1400 S2x2 CB and Murska 2000 S2x2 CB crimp and bag the grain, still moist after combining, into an hermetic plastic tube. The feed, preserved using this method, is suitable for all livestock animals. Drying of grain and transportation to and fro are not required.

The Murska roller mill - bagger crimps, preserves and bags the grain into a hermetic bag of Ø 1,5 m or 2,0 m indiameter in one single work phase. The bag can be up to 60 m long. Such a bag may hold 100-180 m3 of compacted high-quality grain. The size of the outtake opening in the bag is easy to control and the face suits even to lower consump-tion. The high-quality bags from Sotrafa and preservatives from Kemira GrowHow guarantee the best possible result. The bagger guarantees that crimping is successful and the quality is even, because there is no need to fill, compact or apply weights on any silos.

Murska BaggerThe Murska Bagger is a separate packing machine that can be connected to a Murska 350 - 1000 roller mill or a loading tunnel. A bagger with a loading tunnel can, in addition to grain, also be used for preservation of other materials.

To use the bagger with a crimper (Murska 350 S2, 700 S2/HD or 1000 HD), remove the elevator from the crimper and bolt the crimper to the top of the bagger. During crimping the crimped feed flows between the rollers straight into the feeding tunnel of the bagger.

Murska tube bagging equipment

The baggers are equipped with drum brakes with hydraulic adjustment. The brake is used for adjusting the compaction rate of the bag, which is monitored by observing the elongation of the bag.

The baggers may be equipped with bagging tunnels of either ø1,5 m or ø2,0 m. The smaller bag can hold about 1,5 tons/m and the bigger one about 2,0 tons/m of moist crimped grain. The Murska roller mill with bagger can also be operated throughout the year. Dry-rolled grain may also be bagged and it is possible to replace the bagger with an elevator-conveyor.

The Murska Crimper-Bagger connected to the discharge auger of the roller mill at the rear part of the mill. The bagger is an option for the Murska 1400 /2000 S2x2 Crimper.
