Message from the Pastor Today we celebrate the feast of the Most Holy Trinity, the feast of God Father, Son and Holy Spirit. That is, the feast of the three face of God, of the ways in which God has gradually revealed Himself to us. As men, we are looking for God and we develop a clear or confusing image of Him. What is God’s face like? In our times, the image of God is that of an unknown God, or a God “for emergencies only”, or of God the magician. But that is not the Christian God. Neither is that the saving God that the Gospels offer us. God has presented to us different faces. Through Christ Jesus we discover the real image of God: God is a Father. A second discovery is that of Jesus Himself. The third one is of God the Spirit. In today’s Mass we gather together as a family under the gaze of our Father. May this Eucharist help us to discover the real face of God. This coming Sunday, we celebrate the Feast of Corpus Christi, we invite you to participate in our Eucharist. There will only be Mass celebrated in the Mother Church at 9 in the morning in English and 11 in the morning in Spanish, in the Mission of San Francisco y Santa Clara in English at 10:30am and in the Mission of La Milagrosa at 9:30am in Latin.

Celebramos hoy la fiesta de la Santísima Trinidad: la fiesta de Dios Padre, Hijo y Espíritu Santo. O sea, la fiesta de las tres caras de Dios: las formas en las que Dios se nos ha ido revelando. Como hombres, andamos en busca de Dios y nos hacemos una imagen clara o confusa de Él. ¿Cómo es la cara de Dios? La imagen de Dios en nuestros tiempos es la imagen de un Dios desconocido o un Dios para emergencias, o es un Dios mago. Ese no es el dios de los cristianos, ni es el Dios salvador que nos ofrece el evangelio. Dios nos ha presentado otras caras distin-tas. Cristo Jesús nos fue descubriendo poco a poco la real imagen de Dios. Dios es Pa-dre. El segundo descubrimiento es el de Jesús. El tercer descubrimiento es el de Dios—Espíritu. En las misas del día de hoy nos reunimos en familia bajo la mirada de nuestro Padre. Que esta Eucaristía nos ayude a descubrir la verdadera cara de Dios. El domingo que viene celebramos la fiesta de Corpus Christi, les invitamos a participar de nuestras Eucaristías, solamente tendremos misa en la Iglesia Madre a las 9am en ingles, 11am en español, la misa de 10:30am en la mision San Francisco y Santa Clara en ingles y las misa de 9:30am de la mision La Milagrosa en Latín.

SAINT ANTHONY OF PADUA Priest and doctor of the Church,

Born in Portugal, he was first a regular canon and then entered the newly founded Order of Friars Minor, to spread faith among the peoples of Africa, but he dedicated himself to

preaching to Italy and France, where he attracted many to the true faith. He wrote notable sermons for his doctrine and style, and by order of St. Francis taught theology to the

brethren, until he rested with the Lord.
