Test pilot a business model for providing affordable comprehensive worksite wellness programs to small businesses (75 or less employees).

By June 30, 2012, at least 25% of employees completing an HRA will reduce at least one chronic risk factor.

By May 15, 2012, the micro business model will show a positive return on investment.

By March 31, 2012, the project will validate the proposed price per employee ($150) to provide comprehensive worksite wellness services to micro employers.

When comparing the peer-reviewed research costs associated with risks and presenteeism costs to the Healthy Small Business population, the following savings were shown:

Fewer Smokers: $22,336

Reduced Obesity: $10,009

Total: $32,345

Cost of the Program: $26,437

Cost estimated for non grouping employers was $160-$540 per employee per year for businesses employing 10-72 employees.

Cost estimated for grouping employers was $150 per employee per year.

Preliminary results show actual costs for grouping employers to be $137.62 per employee per year.
