HEAD CoACH DENEEN EBLING

The 2012-13 season will mark the 11th year for Deneen Ebling as the head coach for Albright’s Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams. Prior to becoming head coach of the Lions’ Track and Field programs, Ebling served as the assistant coach for five seasons (1999-2002), and primarily worked with the sprinters.

Following her graduation from Tulpehocken High School, Ebling attended Indiana University where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminolgy in 1986. Ebling would then continue her educa-tion at West Virginia University where she received her master’s degree in Counseling in 1995.

Ebling began her coaching career as an assistant coach at Tulpehocken before taking the assistant coaching job at Read-ing Central Catholic High School in 1992. In 1996 Ebling was named head coach at Reading Central Catholic and remained there for three more seasons before taking an assistant position at Albright in 1999.

JoHN SCHoLL LIFE SPoRTS CENTERThe John Scholl Life Sports Center includes an indoor track and field facility (four lane, 1/10 mile track) and can also be used for basketball (four courts), tennis, and as a practice facility for other athletic teams. It was dedicated to former Albright great John Scholl ‘69 in 2008 for his countless contributions to Albright Athletics.
