A-H-S-T Community School District Model Schools Conference 2010 Orlando, Florida S TUDENT R EFLECTIONS I Learned. We need higher order thinking in the classroom I need to do HOT to do well in class. Blooms Taxonomy I did not know what it was before Use HOT to better engage in class. Learn about Value Beyond SchoolTeachers are trying to improve classrooms in order to prepare students better. The things teachers are trying to change make us think at higher levels Teachers are trying to help us become critical thinkers Working in groups in very important to succeed The teachers are going to start cracking down on more in-depth thinking I learned how big the students responsibility is I didnt know that teachers had to do so much work and analyzing at those Thursday morning meetings. It was interesting to me to learn about AIW and what we are trying to accomplishing at AHST. AHST staff and principal are super serious about having students use their knowledge. Teachers work so hard and they need to see if we are learning more or not.
