What is Home Automation?

complexity and problems.

Link your intercom system to your mobile phone and speak to your visitors when you are not home. You can even let people into your home remotely and watch them via a special phone app or via your laptop.

Include a ‘Goodbye’ scenario so you can quickly turn off all lighting, air-conditioning, floor heating, close blinds and turn on the third party alarm system when you leave the house.

Plug in an MP3 player and listen to whatever music you choose through ceiling and wall speakers. You can view and activate music files from any touchscreen, and listen to different audio sources and playlists in different rooms.

Program a ‘Goodnight’ scenario to turn off all lighting and shut all blinds, shutters and curtains.

Use an iPad, iPhone or Android phone to control your home lighting, sound, temperature and door entry systems.

Activate scenarios, turn-off systems and play your favourite music with ease. Incorporate a few of these in your home – master bedroom, living room, garage - to maximise your control and limit pacing about from room to room, upstairs to downstairs and the like.

Volume controller

Icons are great tools for improving clarity and speed of use. They also make high-tech devices appear friendly and approachable. We’ve spent a large amount of time researching, crafting and testing our icons to maximise the ease of use of our interfaces – creating an intuitive navigation system.

Multimedia Touchscreen

This Multimedia Touchscreen is a central control point for all of the electrical functions in every room of

your home – lighting, blinds, awnings, shutters, air-conditioning, heating, audio entertainment, and

video intercoms.

Here are a few examples of what you can control from this screen:

• Quickly turn-off all lighting and air-conditioning

when you are running out the door for work • Import

visitors at the front gate – you can expand the

energy management system to enable you to see how much gas, water and

electricity your home is consuming. With a few simple finger-taps you can see

how much energy is being consumed at a particular moment, how much you

used last month, and even how much power your solar panels are generating.

And by setting tariff values, you can also keep track of how much your next bill
