Staffing It is with much sadness that I announce to our school community the resignation of our much loved canteen manager Judy Knight. Judy has worked diligently in the canteen for many years and maintained a very efficient level of service for our students. She was always keen to discuss new ideas that would create culinary delights for the children. We will miss her very much and wish her the very best in her new employment venture. Hannah Kelly, mother of Ryan, Jayde and Avery, will commence working in the canteen on Wednesday of next week. If there are any parents who would like to volunteer to help your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the office via email or telephone.
Key Dates for Term 4 We are currently on our second draft for setting of key dates for this term. After setting key dates we were informed of the date for the year 7 Information Night at Emerald Secondary College. Unfortunately, this clashed with the date we had set for our Concert Night. We have since gone back to the drawing board and the alternative date is just waiting for the final ‘tick off’ from staff. Once this has happened we will publicise all end of year key dates for you to mark on your calendars.
Colour Fun Run What a fantastic time was had by everyone at the Colour Fun Run last Tuesday. There was so much laughter and excitement from students and staff alike as navigations were made around the course to “avoid” the COLD splashes of water and the douses of coloured powder. Thank you to the HPV team for organising the event and to our parents who provided the clothes and dealt with the washing afterwards!
