Having been a teacher for over 10 years, Nadya has worked with children in Kindergarten and early learning settings through to grade six as both a classroom teacher and an art specialist. She provides opportunities for children to learn and explore using a wide range of media such paints, textiles, clay, oil pastels, chalk pastels, markers, paper, found, natural and recycled materials. Nadyas art workshops and lessons provide opportunities for creative enrichment and expression through fun, playful, hands-on learning experiences. The Kids Art Classes will take place on a Thursday afternoon from 45.30pm starting on 1 Feb—29 Mar. Bookings essential. A great achievement Our Wednesday Intermediate Computer Class finished off 2017 with the successful development of a cook book! Throughout the year, the students were busily involved and were tested to see how their skills could be applied. There were many edits, reviews and feedback before the final project was complete. There was even a tasting day! The book, titled Our Cookbook’, includes all original recipes created by the students. Well done!

Kids Art Classes with Nadya

The first exhibition with Andrew McDermott

Andrew McDermott is a local artist from Braybrook who is known for his scanned prints of unfolded otherworldly beings. The art of turning tiny paintings into photos: it’s an art practice Andrew’s been working on for many years. He unfolds abstract paintings on a size so small that it reveals a connection to a surreal reality. The theory of what the images are and what they mean is very subjective for the viewer. Andrew enjoys the discovery of the many layers of perception and interpretation of his artwork. Andrew will showcase his work at the Hub in February. Our Wednesday Intermediate Computer Class finished off 2017 with the successful development of a cook book!

Throughout the year, the students were busily involved and were tested to see how their skills could be applied. There were many edits, reviews and feedback before the final project was complete. There was even a tasting day!

The book, titled ‘Our Cookbook’, includes all original recipes created by the students. Well done!
