No one can abscond (except otherwise shallow or foggy minded) for the fact that a

giant prawn embracing a less giant Cameroon map should be use as the national logo or

symbol of this country, if we are totally bent to bring the trouble Vessel back to course. I

hope this will catapults coveting smiles on the dusty-lips of our founding fathers, since it

traces the originality of our beloved nation (not leaving astray, our shameful colonial lineage)

even though it has been belated for years, but the prawns or shrimps are still

extraordinarily thirsty to become the national logo of our beloved fatherland Cameroon

mailed to us by their Portuguese name Rio Dos Cameros ( being a starter of our history) theprawns feel that this is the only way they can be kick out of their relegation zone as the

endanger species and to bring back forever the colossal bliss the Portuguese first witnessed

when they pilfer a glance on our meandering rivers to build an every growing spirit of vast

jingoism (patriotism) and national patrimony among our astute youths and leaders, for no

nation in the world can flourish in the expense of great love for patriotism and splendor.


What a dreadful story to learn of or for tourists to learn that Cameroonians dine

deliberately on what was destine to be their national symbol! We must fervently kick prawns

out of our kitchens, ports, tables, plates and diets for a boom in patriotism. It maybe

Cameroonians are unpatriotic because they dine on prawns. The Bald Eagle for instance, as a

ferocious creature is the US national logo, though I badly criticize it in my book title Genius

and pundits pet name Bolony but I do think Americans do not have them on their diet as a

rule, even on intensive economic down train the will prefer to have inserts on their table and

never their Bald Eagle that is why they are spoilt-patriots (exceptionally patriotic), this is just

I strongly believe a prawn is an uncontestable and irreversible national logo for this

nation Cameroon since it is on the lips of every lad, lass, elder, leader, tourist and even our

posterity that, this nation got her name from a Portuguese words which mean river of

prawns, so together lets get prawns our as only begotten logo or national symbol as a reward

to the energy of our falling patriots, as well as a compass for our straying youths and

posterity, especially it antennal, in my opinion any Cameroonian who dine on prawns orcrawfish is a corrupt, embezzler or fraudulent in all endeavors.

No matter the economic up spiral of these little creatures to our citizens, a prawn as

our national logo is the lone symbol that will ride this nation out of her lengthy bumpy route

history. I hope you will mere spare my neck! The sharp of shrimps is like the replica of

Cameroon map, the Telson is the symbol of defense without being offensive, you can hide a

people from their current history but you cant hide a generation (s) and posterity from their

original history.

Correct me if I am totally wrong , in time of celebrating, the happy euphoria of being

independence , we must scorn a little while about the happiness to capture some crumbs of

our short comings, for instance the question in ever one mind is, are we not independence

enough to create our own currency call CEMAC .

We must politely and smoothly ask ourselves if our founding fathers fought so hard

only to achieve our alcoholic independence or mental and technological independence. If

nation building is measure by the amount of alcoholic drinks we swallow everyday then the

shanty cities of our nation will be like New York and Tokyo.

The consolidation of our independence and reunification will hit the highest mark of a

flourishing nation, only when the think-tank of this nation are nerves enough to stand the testof time, with negligible errors only.

Naturally a prawn have two part the Head and the Abdomen call it that way,

painting the English and French speaking folks electroplated by great spirit of bilingualism

The towering mount Cameroon pride the nation as the first altitude of the nation and

second in the continent melting its biodiversities and it fertile soil to the bliss of every curious

eyes and the race of hope always bring Cameroonians peacefully nearer to one another as

offspring of one womb, as well as exporting the image of the country to the farer distance of

employment for our jobless youths and maybe Cameroon will hit a growing reputation for

fame, by being the first nation on the face of the earth to successfully practice the cultivation

of spawns.Celebrating our independence that has come of age or amalgamation without

an astute review of the future is like a chimpanzee wining a Nobel Prize in scientific

research.

Artificial Hatcheries for Prawns (A.H.P should also be planted in all the regions of

this nation to fuel the large and small scale prawns farmers as well as a Cameroon prawns

farmers association (CAMPRAFA) should be put in place to encourage research and to jack

up production, since prawns are a top source of protein to banish kwashiorkor and poverty

forever.

I hope more research will be carry on to know more useful meaning of the various

parts of prawns, it adaptations, it rule for the protection of our ecosystem, it parental care,

with a stirring vision to make Cameroon a wonderful tourists destination and to verbalize an

ever increasing points to support prawns as the original logo of Cameroon.

I some times feel that I have to apologize for the dose of my radical ingenuity if not I

wont go free but most of the time I blame that on my endanger education.

One day a sinking ship will become the worlds latest submarine.


Short listed logo could be theGolden Eagle flying with the nation flag and a hive

euphoria folks coveting is also okay, Gallia Fog, Ostrich,and not talks of the bird found

only the forest in NW REGION AND NO OTHER PLACE IN THE WORLD COULD BE

USE.
