Vowel Matching Sing within your “goalposts” Show a bit of your top teeth all the time* The tongue should lie on the floor
of the mouth and be relaxed Tip of tongue touch lower teeth Keeps lips as relaxed as possible
Correct Vowels1. Sound like the vowel2. Look like the vowel3. Feel like the vowel
Vowels, Inside and Outside EE
Stay within the goalposts Show a bit of top teeth Natural delivery, just like the ABC’s
AH Stay within the goalposts Show a bit of top teeth Don’t drop jaw too far
OH Keep a bit of the top teeth showing Use bottom lip to make most of the shape Move corners forward from AH to OH Leave the aperture higher on your face
Ooh Show a bit of top teeth Move corners forward from OH to Ooh Smaller aperture than OH with relaxed lips. Keep the sound outside your mouth
