STEP 1CLASS INFORMATION

Create your Course NameSelect your Course TypeEstablish Start and End Dates

Select your Course Name.

Your Course Name is what will appear as a course link for your students and teachers within the platform.

Course Names are alpha-numeric and must begin with a letter.

Your Host School has been pre-generated for your convenience.

All course derivatives and school rosters will be pre-generated from this host location.

Select Course Type.

Selecting a Course Type will identify the type of access students will have and whether or not they will be utilizing a platform license.

For more information on the three course types, simply hover over the question mark next to Course Type.

Review the three different course types and make your selection.

Now you can select your course Start Date and End Date.

This step is optional.

Selecting a Start Date and End Date means that students can only view and access this course within the specified timeframe.

Courses will be closed on End Dates and only teachers will still have access.

Course dates can be established within our licensing year, September 1st-August 31st of any school year.

By choosing to not select a Start and End Date, your course will be available throughout the licensing year.

After completing the required fields, there are three available options on how to proceed…

Select Save To Finish Later to save all current progress to your “Work In Progress” on the Admin Console main page.

Until a saved course have been finalized, the course will not exist in the platform.

Finalizing Course Creation will publish all current progress to the platform as a new course. At this stage, only an empty course shell would be published.

Note: After your course has been Finalized, your Course Name and Start and End Date are editable from the “View or Edit Course” link on the Admin Console main page. Course Type cannot be edited. A new course must be created if the wrong Course Type has been selected.
