Moreno has always appreciated “the sweet breath of the earth.” His family farm is specialized in the production of old varieties of apples such as the “Mela Rosa dei Monti Sibillini”.Moreno is a member of Slow Food Movement and also a member of the world food communities, which is the most important event, organized by the Slow Food movement in Turin, and has received some of the best national gastronomic reviews. Moreno has graduated of the University of Macerata him to know and worked with many influential leaders on the Slow Food Movement and frontrunners of Italian gastro-nomy and tourism. He has also been featured on “Feast with Heston Blumenthal” on Channel 4 in Italy. Thanks to my connection with this fantastic land, which I know so well, I can introduce visitors to some unforgettable experiences and memories, where the scenery and beautifulness of the countryside and the wonderful fascination of the Sibillini Mountains create a magical atmosphere for you to enjoy.M

It is a virtual window on our beloved homeland a place where we are presenting our suggestions for a great vacation, to enjoy ourselves. QUAD BIKE EXCURSIONS LE MARCHE HILLS

If you want a truly amazing experience on your holiday in Le Marche, then you should try a Quad-biking trip deep into nature and the local countryside. Most people who try it cannot resist returning for more. The bike’s versatility combined with the knowledge of the guide and the stunning scenery that is a constant backdrop, makes this a really exciting and exhi-larating day out. After a short distance travelling through woo-dland, open countryside and rivers you will easily get the hang of your machine, and will be travelling in confidence and will not want to get off.

PROGRAMMEEach quad bike can carry a driver plus a pillion passenger. The excursion lasts about 3 hours, the route winds through trails in beautiful countryside and areas of outstanding cultural importance. Departure takes place after a Quad training and on the rules and regulations to be followed. The excursion is for a minimum of 2 quads and includes a guide for each group. After the excursion you will be taken for a tasting of locally made speciality foods from the Sibillini Mountains, Marche.

WINE DAY TRIPS AND WINE TASTING TOURS IN LE MARCHE

This day tour will be an exploration in the heart of the Rosso Piceno, the wine of the Piceno people, the defined area that begins just South of le Marche. While visiting the wonders of the area and in tasting its wines, you will come to understand the concept of the territory, and you will learn how the ‘Passerina’ wine is made, how to distinguish the characteristics of the main grape varieties, and much more… We will then head for our first local winery, whilst we have time in the van to admire the wild but fantastic country side and to discuss the wine making of the area, its history and evolution. At the first winery you will see the cellars and receive a full explanation of the wines and other specialties’ that are produced. You will taste the wines of the winery which will typically include at least Rosso Piceno Superiore, Pecorino and Passerina.It is now time to sample tasty specialties of the area, so we will stop for lunch at an old local Osteria. NB: please note we can also arrange to send wine directly to your address

Ramusa is located in the magic truffle area, nestled in the rolling hills of Le Marche. It is  set in a beaufitul and private spot, about 30 minutes away from both the sea and the National Park of the Sibillini Mountains.The country house was renovated using the original materials, according to the typical local ancient techniques: wooden beams and shutters, stone floors and fireplaces remind you of the ancient warmth and atmosphere of the place. Ramusa will host you with 4 bedrooms (each with ensuite bathro-om), one suite (dining room, two bedrooms and priva-te bathroom), a lounge where you can arrange you tours and a relaxing area where you can taste the typical dishes of the local cooking. Moreover, you can enjoy the swimming pool and Jacuzzi. You can also take a walk through the wood and the lovely garden.

La Fornace is placed in the high valley of the Fiastrella river, at 500 meters on the sea level, near two won-derful medieval villages, San Ginesio and Sarnano. It enjoys a  lovely panoramic view over the surrounding countryside and the Sibillini mountains (National Park) that are only about 5 Km away.  The sea is approx. 40 Km far. The house dates back to the begin-ning of the twentieth century, and it has been com-pletely restored retaining  the original  architectural features. La Fornacetta sleeps max 10 + 2 people as it has 3 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms. The property also has a great private park with swimming pool, Gazebo, Barbeque, and Relax areas.

TRADITIONAL LE MARCHE COOKING CLASSES FOR GROUPS AND FAMILIES IN THE VILLA

The Marche territory, so rich in food and wine products. Its the natural location for a cookery course which values the uniqueness of the products. The course will be held by local chef, and you will be immersed in a world of typically Italian flavours, specific to the area. The course aims to show clear and simple regional cooking techniques and lasts around 4 to 5 hours and can be held in the holiday villa. The goal is to teach the techniques and to demonstrate the preparation of typical Italian recipes to the participants. The course allows to discover the genuine old flavours of the Marche Region, and get to really know the old flavours & typical aromas of the Marchigiani area.

We'd like to help you get under Le Marche's skin, meeting local artisans and experiencing the true flavour of rural life. Experience a fantastic day truffle hunting with experts and their dogs in local woodland, then sit down and sample local wines and a mouth watering menu based around your& truffles.

HORSE RIDING IN LE MARCHE COUNTRY SITE

We would like to extend an invitation to leisu-rely explore the le Marche countryside in a most delightful way...on horseback! You will be taken to the Sibillini Mountains, in the heart of le Marche. We ride through native woods, lake and rolling hills to offer you a collection of breathtaking and unforgettable view. Riders will always be assessed before being allowed out. For this type activity we advise an good know to ride, otherwise we do other 'bridle path.

The trek will be based on the ability of the riders from a simple walk, to trot or possibly canter (slow gallop).

PROGRAMME: Approximately 2 hours with horse through the Sibillini countryside.Authentic le Marche meal with local product (Vegetarian and Vegan meals on request). Possibility of pick up for accommodations.

THE TRADITIONAL CERAMIC WOR-KSHOP IN LE MARCHE

Our tour guide will take you to visit a ceramic workshop specializing in pottery and tools of the le Marche traditions. The tour includes a walk through the little town of Montottone, just 30 kms from the sea, which is still surrounded by its safety fortifications and many ancient towers dating back to the XII Century.

OIL TASTING TOUR IN THE MARCHE HILLS

It is an unforgettable experience to come to a farm in le Marche where olive oil is produced in the month of November. During this season there is a lot of activity on the farms. All of the people on the farm take part in different ways in the harvesting and tasting of the olives. The mills work from morning to night. Fresh olive oil fills the terracotta jars.

Whilst driving and touring Le Marche and its wonder-ful landscape you will discover many preserved medieval centres or centro storico in the Marche villages and towns. Historical Marche includes well preserved examples of ancient Roman engineering, at nearby Urbisaglia and Falerone and the Late Renaissance flourishes of the Basilica of Loreto and the 'Liberty' style art nouveaux coastal villas at Porto San Giorgio and Civitanova Marche. If you travel to the South West, the landscape a stones throw away from the villa becomes far more dramatic as the hills are dominated by the Sibillini Mountains. This area, which is protected by the Sibillini National Park, is accessed via some great roads and paths which allow the visitor to discover lakes, rivers, some amazing gorges and wildlife.
