Introduction The study proposes comparative analyses on the performances of

different PV array topologies under various irradiance conditions.

Appropriate configuration of PV systems is considered to improve the

performance under various environmental conditions.

“Series-Parallel (SP)”, “Bridge-Link (BL)” and “Total-Cross-Tied

(TCT)” configurations are considered.

Simulation models for PV array topologies are constructed in

Matlab/SIMULNIK and the performances are analyzed with and

without application of bypass diodes.

configuration.

solar cell is utilized for modeling
