College Uniform

The uniform of the College is seen as one of the public expressions of our values and our group identity. For this reason all students are expected to conform to the standards expected and defined as part of

their collective responsibility to one another.

Students are expected to be in correct uniform at all times.

Primary Uniform Girls Summer – Terms 1 and 4

• College uniform dress • College polo shirt with navy College skort can be worn as an alternative to the dress • College navy jumper or College navy jacket, when necessary • College white socks with navy, jade and maroon stripe • Black polishable hard leather lace-up school shoes. Must have a heel (no flat sole or raised

heels). Early Stage 1 / Stage 1 may have Mary Jane shoes with buckles or velcro. • College hat • Navy gym pants may be worn under dress uniform in order to allow girls to enjoy the full range of

physical activities whilst at play. Winter – Terms 2 and 3

• College uniform dress • College polo shirt with navy College long trousers can be worn as an alternative to the dress • Navy tights (socks not to be worn over tights) • College navy jumper or College navy jacket • Black polishable hard leather lace-up school shoes. Must have a heel (no flat sole or raised

heels). Early Stage 1 / Stage 1 may have Mary Jane shoes with buckles or velcro. • College hat

shoes) • College hat • During cooler weather students may wear navy tights or stockings and a dark blue scarf • Undergarments that are not visible are permitted to be worn for extra warmth

General Notes

Hair Colour and Style Girls

• The hair is to be worn clean and brushed at all times. Hair longer than shoulder length should be tied back.

• The hair can be worn in ponytails, pigtails, plaits etc. Each of these should be singularly or in pairs and should be worn away from the face.

• Colours, both permanent and temporary are not permitted. • The hair should not be worn in dramatically differing lengths. This prohibits undercuts and other

extreme cuts. Boys

• The hair is to be worn short, neat and clean at all times • The hair should not be worn at a length which covers the eyebrows or the collar of a buttoned

shirt. • The hair should not be shorter than a number three clipper • The hair should not be worn in dramatically differing lengths. This prohibits undercuts and other

extreme cuts. • Colours, both permanent and temporary are not permitted. • Must be clean shaven.

Jewellery

• No decorative jewellery is to be worn to College. Jewellery includes all items introduced to the hair such as beads, feathers etc but excludes subdued coloured clips and pins.

• Watches may be worn. • Girls with pierced ears are permitted to wear plain studs or simple small sleepers without stones

or adornment or other visual feature. One earring is to be worn per ear and is to be worn in the lower ear lobe.

• Boys are not permitted to wear earrings to College. • Necklaces of a particular significance are to be worn under the uniform so that they cannot be

seen.

Makeup

• Nail polish, fake nails and cosmetics are not to be worn to College. • Nails are to be clean and trimmed. • Clear lip balm is allowed.

Second Hand Uniforms Friends of EAC run a second hand uniform shop located within the Ezzy Centre. The shop is open most Tuesday afternoons from 2:30pm – 3:30pm. Please note: Cash sales only. Any uniforms being donated to the second hand shop can be dropped into the Front Office. Labelling Each article of your clothing must be clearly marked with your first name and surname to ensure your clothing can be quickly returned to you if you lose it. College shoes and sport shoes should also be clearly named.
