The LKA Group Project was designed to teach:

• Space Planning

•Systems Furniture Orientation

•Exposure to the types of Construction Documents used in Interior Design.

•Follow a basic specification and needs requirements of a customer.

• The design analysis used a matrix format to determine overlapping needs.

• The bubble diagram provides a flow chart and placement of space.

• The preliminary floor plan shows groupings of space.

Reliquary Project from Ball State Architecture Class

This project is from my time at Ball State University College of Architecture and Planning.

Here, I learned the basic elements of design. Especially developing a design concept and the importance of carrying that concept throughout the project.

The Reliquary Project is based off of selecting a “Sacred” object and designing an experience and structure around the object.

Floor Plan of Reliquary ProjectThis is a site along the White River in Muncie, Indiana. The experience of the project is meant to be a reflective journey. The Apse is the focus of the building with the reflection garden as the centerpiece.

Shilo Design Firm Project

• This project was the first project that I did in Interior Design while at Purdue University.

• It is a renovation of a grain silo into a design firm. The challenge is the circular and small space.

• This project consisted of a two story firm and with a third story apartment.

• I chose a radiating design that centered around the receptionist and public areas.

The project includedan exterior elevationand a building Section. The logo atthe bottom of the page is carried through the buildingfaçade.

Health Care Medical Clinic Floor Plan

The Health Care Medical Clinic was a project that was designed to fulfill the needs of a tenant build out. This allows the student to learn codes of a Health Care facility as well as plan the flow of space.

This design was specific to patient flow and divides the space amongst public use and staff use.

The analysis of space includes a bubble diagram and a color coded space plan.
