BAPTISM SUNDAY Sunday, January 8 | 9 or 11am The next opportunity for Baptism is Sunday, January 8. There is a mandatory Baptismal Conference for parents and godparents the Saturday before. The registration deadline is January 1. Register online at ChristCh.org. The remaining 2017 dates for Baptism are June 4, September 17 and November 5.

MISSION OF LOVE: FIREFIGHTERS Sunday, January 8 | 12pm | Six Mile Firehouse Missions of Love are based on 1 John 3:18, "Let us not love with words or speech, but with actions and in truth." In order to thank the fire fighters of the Six Mile firehouse for keeping us safe at the 12th Night Bonfire, we will be taking them a pot luck lunch. This is a great time to share a meal, fellowship and conversation with those who serve our community. Register online at ChristCh.org (“register”).

AN EVENING AT ROBERT’S Friday, January 13 | 7pm | Parish Hall Back by popular demand! Robert Dickson, our local celebrity chef and baritone, will emerge from retirement to offer a one night only "An Evening at Robert's.” Enjoy one of his famous "Robert's Restaurant" meals as you enjoy his rich baritone voice. TREE CHURCH 5K—VOLUNTEERS NEEDED The Tree Church Project raises money to build churches in the Diocese of Marsabit in the Anglican Church of Kenya. The 4th Annual Tree Church Project 5K is scheduled for March 4, 2017. We are looking for volunteers to help make this event a success. We will need assistance with registration, publicity, securing sponsors and donations, pre-race packet pick-up, race day hospitality, set-up and clean-up. It takes many people to make this event a success and our brothers & sisters in Christ in Kenya are counting on us. If you are interested in helping, please contact Robin Quick at [email protected].

MEN OF CHRIST CHURCH Monday, January 9 | 7pm | Men’s Shed Join the Men of Christ Church for their Oyster Roast planning meeting at the Men’s Shed featuring an oyster roast.

DAY SCHOOL TOURS & REGISTRATION Christ Church Day School’s Mother’s Morning Out and Preschool programs are now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 school year. Applications are available at ChristChurchDaySchoolMtp.org. Applications can be obtained at the school or church offices. The parishioner deadline for priority placement is January 19. The general public deadline is January 31. Tours will be given at 10am on January 9, 18, & 24. No reservations necessary.
