The paint onthe inside is largely undamaged whilst the outside has some significantloss of paint. Painted at the bottom of the outside is a colourful fantailed bird with concentric bands of pattern up to the rim. Some of thepatterned bands on the inside and outside include birds, plants andfruit. Dagger with a smooth white and black ivory handle with metal wirearound some of the handle. There is a damaged circular disc of whiteivory for the pommel decorated with inlaid black circles and with ametal bell shaped knob that is attached to the tang of the blade whichextends through the whole of the handle. There is patterned metalplaced over the guard of the handle and two small bolts through thehandle with patterned metal nuts on either side holding them in place.The blade is double edged with signs of rust. The scabbard is madeof leather with patterns and decorative ridges and patterened metalportions where the scabbard meets the guard and then at the end ofthe blade.
