A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

By RoseFyre

And it’s finally time for the finale! Two years, three months, 20 chapters (plus a prologue and two interludes), oneRound Robin generation, and I’m finally done!

I do hope you all enjoy!

Still don’t own Joss, the Buffyverse, or anything that comes from that.

Kate’s Junior year started fairly well, with an invitation to Porter Hall from Graham.

“How’s college going for you so far?” Kate asked.

He shrugged. “I’ve barely started, but classes seem good. I don’t think I’ll have any problems.”

“What are you majoring in?”

“Haven’t declared one yet.”

Page 3: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

He caressed her face. “I can figure that out later, though. I’m much more glad to see you.”

“Are you sure you don’t want to try out some of those college girls?”

“No one could ever be as perfect for me as you are, Kate. No one.”

“I’m glad.”

“Me too.”

Page 4: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Kate did go home – she unfortunately had classes and work and such – but she was back bright and early the nextday, this time with Lindsey in tow, as Lindsey quite wanted to see Amber.

The two couples happily ignored each other, spending time as couples rather than as a group.

Page 5: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Of course, Amber and Graham did both have classes, so, during those, Lindsey and Kate were quite happy to stealtheir pillows and whack each other with them.

Page 6: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

In addition, Lindsey and Kate spent plenty of time that year at their own house. It was Lindsey’s Senior year, andKate’s Junior, and they both had plenty of homework that needed to be done.

…Their minds weren’t always on their papers, however.

Page 7: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Even having to do homework left some time for fun, though, and they enjoyed that time quite a lot.

Dancing was a favorite activity.

Page 8: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

They also talked over many meals. This time, they’d received word of which restrictions their brothers had lifted.

“I know what I’d like to do,” Kate said, “but Richard already lifted Criminal. That leaves us with Law Enforcementand Journalism.” She shrugged. “I don’t have a strong preference either way. Do you?”

“Ideally I’d like to be Captain Hero.”

“So that leaves Journalism for me.”

“I don’t know. That’s my ideal, right? But Amber is more important, and I can’t marry her until I move out. So ifJournalism is what comes up, then Journalism is what I’m doing.”

“Right. Then I’ll do whatever you don’t.”

“Works for me.”

Page 9: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Lindsey did unfortunately come down with food poisoning – Kate really wasn’t that great of a cook, even of jello –but luckily it didn’t last too long.

Page 10: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

For much of that year, when Lindsey and Kate weren’t visiting Amber and Graham, Amber and Graham could oftenbe found at their house instead.

Page 11: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Kate and Graham loved getting to see each other, at either house.

Page 12: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

And it was no surprise to anyone, including them, when they ended up in bed together.

Page 13: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“You sure about this?” Graham asked, pausing while kissing his girlfriend.

“Oh hell yes. I’ve been waiting for you for two years, mister, so get to it.”

“As my lady commands.”

She laughed, smacking him lightly on the chest. “Stop the bullshit and just kiss me.” She didn’t wait for him to obeyher orders, choosing instead to take control of the kiss.

Graham wasn’t protesting.

Page 14: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty
Page 15: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

The next morning, Lindsey cornered Graham. “I could hear you and my sister last night.”

“Dude, your room is on the other side of the house. Were you standing outside our door or something?”

Lindsey put his hands on his hips and grimaced. “You weren’t being very quiet.”

“And you and Amber are? My room’s next door to hers, you know.”

“That’s not the point.”

Page 16: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Graham decided to stop winding Lindsey up. “Look, dude, I get that you worry about your sister, but Kate can takecare of herself. If she ever wants to stop me from doing something, she’ll stop me, and that’s the way it should be.You don’t have to get involved.”

“If you hurt her, I will kill you.”

Graham nodded. “If she doesn’t kill me first.” He grinned at Lindsey’s perplexed look. “What, you think shewouldn’t?”

Lindsey nodded slowly. “If she doesn’t, you’ll have me to worry about. And our three older brothers.”

“Duly noted.”

Page 17: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Kate, who had been taking a shower, then called them in for breakfast.

Luckily, she’d managed not to burn the omelets.

By mutual agreement, the boys didn’t mention the conversation they’d just had. It wasn’t something she needed toknow about.

Page 18: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

However, Graham did insist on only woohooing in the hot tub while Lindsey was at class. It was one thing for him tohear them, and another entirely for him to see them.

Once he pointed out that he didn’t want to see Lindsey and Amber any more than Lindsey would probably want tosee them, Kate decided that she really didn’t need her brother to actually see her woohooing, and agreed withGraham’s limits.

Page 19: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

And then the year was over, and Lindsey and Amber grew up into fairly decent clothing, ready to move home – and,in Lindsey’s case, lift.

Page 20: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

While Lindsey’s clothing may have been decent, it wasn’t quite him, so as soon as he moved home, he changed.

Page 21: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

However, before he could settle in, his twin brothers moved out, having lifted their restrictions and ready to leave.

Page 22: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Lindsey waved goodbye, then headed for the computer.

Four of the jobs were useless, but the fifth…

He promptly grabbed it.

Page 23: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

The carpool had already come and gone, but they did own a car, so Lindsey dressed in his uniform as the Police Chiefand headed out for work.

Page 24: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

While he was gone, his mother and aunt spent some time relaxing.

Page 25: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

And when he was back, he was Captain Hero, lifting Law Enforcement!

Lindsey promptly installed a fire alarm and a burglar alarm, then called his mother over.

Page 26: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“Congratulations on lifting, Lindsey,” she said.

“Thanks, Mom.” He looked down, then back up. “Would you mind horribly if I moved out today?”

“You want to, then?”

“I can’t move Amber in.”

“Ah.”

“So I was thinking, I could move out today and go live with her. But…but I wanted to make sure you and Aunt Tarawill be okay, until Kate gets home.”

Page 27: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Lilah smiled. “Don’t worry about us. We’ll be fine.” She kissed him. “Now you go and marry that girl.”

“Thanks, Mom.”

Page 28: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Tara came over then, so Lindsey hugged her, then got ready to move out, very ready to join Amber.

He hadn’t even been home a day.

Page 29: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

As he left the house after calling a taxi, his mother and aunt waved goodbye to him. “Have good woohoo and get mesome grandchildren!”

Tara grinned. “Don’t embarrass him like that, Lilah.”

“He’s my son and I’ll embarrass him however I want to.”

Lindsey rubbed his head, ready to be leaving. “Sure, Mom. We’ll get on that.”

“Good!”

Page 30: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Lilah promptly took advantage of the privacy by inviting various lovers over.

Sure, Tara was still around, but Tara didn’t care who she slept with, while her kids still tended to get embarrassed byher being with various people who weren’t their fathers.

Page 31: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

She did, however, make sure to take breaks to feed Kakistos, the cowplant that Robin had planted once he’d liftedNatural Science.

It would be bad if it ate any of her lovers, after all.

But the rest of the next few days, she spent mostly in bed or elsewhere with a lover.

Page 32: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Amber had moved in with some of the distant cousins – Xander’s descendants – so Lindsey swiftly joined her there, setting up an arch so that they could hold their wedding.

Page 33: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

The entire family came, enjoying the chance to wear their formal clothes and celebrate something for once.

Page 34: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

The wedding went swimmingly, and both Lindsey and Amber were absolutely ecstatic to get married.

Page 35: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

However, Lindsey was late to work, so he flew there straight from the wedding.

Amber waved goodbye as he left.

Page 36: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Then she turned to the crowd. “Alright, everyone, go enjoy yourselves!”

And they did.

Page 37: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

When Lindsey got home, he found Amber relaxing in their new bedroom.

“Did the party go well?” he asked.

“It did. I wish you could’ve stayed.”

“Me too. But I couldn’t miss work. I don’t have any vacation days saved up.”

“I know.”

Page 38: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

She pulled him into a cuddle. “Let’s forget that, though, and move on to us.”

“Sounds like a plan to me.”

Page 39: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Their woohoo had immediate results, which pleased Lindsey quite a bit and Amber somewhat.

She did want to be Education Minister, after all, and a pregnancy, though a lovely thing in and of itself, would distracther from that a bit.

At least she didn’t have a horrible pregnancy.

Page 40: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Pregnancy made her incredibly hungry, but at least she could work on her cooking skill while feeding herself, right?

Lindsey was a bit stunned at her lack of decorum, but he didn’t say anything. She was pregnant, after all.

Page 41: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Over at yet another house, Connor was quite enjoying no longer being responsible for, well, pretty much anything.

Page 42: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“So, Faith, want to go on a date? I want 50 dream dates nowthat I’ve been a Celebrity Chef.”

Faith laughed. “What the hell? Sure.”

Gavin looked up at them. “What are you doing, Uncle Connor?”

Connor shook his head. “I’m not your uncle, kid. And we’regoing on a date.”

Gavin shrugged. “Dad said I should call you uncle. So I will. And what’s a date?”

Connor sighed. “Faith, do you mind…”

She grinned. “No, go ahead.”

He turned to Gavin. “Okay, so this is what a date is…”

He kept the explanation simple, but it still confused Gavin atleast a little bit.

They did manage to have a good date afterwards, at least.

Over at The Hyperion Hotel, Lorne was a bit addled at having to deal with his daughters, who were entirely too muchlike him for his own comfort.

Page 44: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Luckily, as teens, they couldn’t actually do much, but they did what they could.

Page 45: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Glory, especially, was not always nice to her dates.

Page 46: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

And yet, somehow, whenever she wanted to do something…they were always willing.

Page 47: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Kennedy, while quite happily boy-crazy, spent at least a bit less time beating her dates up.

She preferred the honey approach, rather than the vinegar.

Page 48: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Besides, while his daughters were busy with their dates, Lorne had Lucy, and she certainly wasn’t rejecting hisadvances.

Page 49: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

At Spike’s Crypt, the newest house on The Hellmouth, it was time for another wedding – Richard was finally gettinghis chance to marry Ramin.

Page 50: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

The wedding went well, with most of the Whedons at the party.

Page 51: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

And everyone cheered when the grooms finally kissed.

Page 52: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Unsurprisingly, they immediately headed upstairs and initiated their new bedroom.

Page 53: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

As a whole, life was going well for Richard. He’d been able to lift, move out, and he was quite enjoying life as aCriminal Mastermind.

Page 54: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

That, of course, meant it was time for him to end up pregnant.

---

Up until now, I’ve played without any of the same-gender hacks, but I decided to put them in for Richard. As theApocalypse is practically over and I lifted Medical ages ago…I decided it didn’t matter.

Page 55: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Robin, of course, was living in the same house as his twin, and quietly enjoying life with various women.

He only worked once a week – as he was an Ecological Guru – so he had plenty of time to pursue his other interests.

Page 56: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Richard continued his quest for his gold makeover badge, still using Robin’s dates as test subjects.

Page 57: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

During the few times that Robin wasn’t busy with one of his women (usually in the middle of the night), he spenttime helping Drusilla and Ben (who also shared their house) take care of their twins.

He didn’t want any kids of his own, but they were okay in small doses.

Page 58: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

And then, when he was done and the twins were asleep (or at least in their cribs), he could go spend time with yetanother woman.

Page 59: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Robin certainly wasn’t the only one dating, though, unlike him (and much to him and his brothers’ relief), Kate hadchosen to stick to only one partner.

Graham was quite happy to be that one and only.

Page 60: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

He loved her, treated her like a princess…what more could a girl want?

Well, for her to love him too, but Kate and Graham had that as well.

Their relationship was going swimmingly, though they knew they’d soon be split up – at least for a while.

Page 61: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Graham wasn’t the only visit to Kate’s small house that year. “How are you doing, Richard? How’s being pregnant?”

“Not nearly as bad as you’d think.”

“Good. I’m glad.”

“So how close are you to lifting something?”

Kate laughed. “I’ve got to finish college and move home, and then it’s Journalism for me. I wouldn’t mind being aMedia Magnate, at least”

Richard smiled. “Good. Now finish college soon and lift this Apocalypse!”

“Don’t worry. I’ve got it covered.”

Page 62: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

When everyone had gone home (her brothers’ visit was quite unplanned), Kate managed to corner Graham.

“So, I know this isn’t traditional, but who ever said we were? Graham Miller Whedon, will you marry me?”

Page 63: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

He looked at the ring. “I can’t marry you until I graduate.”

“That’s alright. I can’t marry you until I lift.”

“Then yes, Kate. Definitely yes.”

He clearly didn’t mind her lack of traditionalism.

Page 64: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

After he put the ring on, he picked her up and twirled her around.

“Graham!” she yelled, smacking at his shoulder. “Put me down!”

He laughed. “What, you don’t like this?”

“You’re making me dizzy.”

“Alright, then.” He put her down, kissed her soundly, then gestured at her bedroom. She grinned as they headed in.

Page 65: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Though Graham was often over, and Kate spent lots of time with him, she also spent much of the rest of the year onthe phone with various friends and relatives, making sure she’d have enough friends to lift Journalism.

Not that she really needed them – her mother’s lovers were always there as a backup – but she wanted to do it onher own, without anyone else helping her. She had the skills, and the friends; she just needed to keep them.

Page 66: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Before she knew it, the year was over, and it was time to kiss Graham goodbye.

She’d still see him, of course, but they’d be living in another house for at least the next six days.

Page 67: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

She called the cab, then twirled into adulthood.

“Huh,” she said, looking down at her outfit, “this is way better than what I grew up into the last time. Still not me,though.”

Then she headed for home.

Page 68: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Upon her arrival at the main house, Kate promptly changed her clothes.

Page 69: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Then she checked the computer.

There was nothing useful at all, not for lifting or even her lifetime want.

She sighed. At least she had some time to lift, right? She didn’t really have anything she needed to do until Grahamgraduated.

Page 70: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

After, she headed into the kitchen. “Hey, Mom.”

“Kate! Welcome home.”

“Thanks. How are you?”

“I’m good. How are you?”

“Pretty good. I already checked the computer, there’s nothing useful at all, so I guess I’m staying here for a bit.”

“You’re always welcome.”

“Thanks.”

Page 71: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Once Graham’s classes were over, she invited him to stay the night.

He said yes, of course.

Page 72: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

She did have to interrupt their date to check the job listings once the clock turned over to midnight.

There was one for a Magazine Editor.

She took it, then headed upstairs.

Page 73: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Graham found her in her new bedroom. “Weren’t you just on the computer?”

“I was looking for jobs.”

“How did it go?”

“I found the one I needed.”

“Awesome.”

Page 74: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

She got up, then pulled him into the bed. “You,” she said, “get to join me for some good luck woohoo.”

“Works for me!”

Page 75: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

The next morning, she met her aunt for breakfast.

“I hear you got the job,” Tara said.

“Well, level 9. I need a promotion.”

“I have every faith in you.”

“Thanks, Aunt Tara. Can you believe this is almost done?”

Tara smiled. “I know. It’s past time.”

“It is.”

Page 76: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

As Tara also had work (she was still Chief of Staff, her most recent lifetime want), they got into the carpool together,so it could take them to both their jobs.

Kate took a deep breath. “This is it.”

“Good luck,” Tara said. “I know you can do it.”

Kate nodded at her. “Have a good day at work.”

“I will.”

Page 77: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

While they were gone, Lilah invited Trent Traveller over, making him lover number 42.

She made sure to send him away before Kate returned, however.

Page 78: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

And when Kate got back, she was a Media Magnate.

“Congratulations,” Tara said, as they got out of their carpool.

Kate grinned at her. “Thanks, Aunt Tara.”

“So what are your plans now?”

“Who knows? We’re done, right? I don’t have to have plans.”

Tara nodded. “I’m going to go call Rose, let her know you lifted. You go enjoy yourself.”

“Will do.”

Page 79: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“Rose! Hi!” The door opened and Tara gestured me inside. “Thanks for coming over.”

Page 80: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

I followed her in through the living room to the kitchen. “So why did you want to see me?” I asked as I sat down atthe table. They joined me rather quickly.

Tara and Lilah exchanged a glance. “The Apocalypse is over,” Lilah said.

“Yeah – I did notice that I don’t have to work for the mob anymore. I’m finally on the right side of the law. Plus, everything else.”

“That’s great,” Lilah rolled her eyes. “But the other you was muttering something about plans. When I asked herwhat she meant, she said a face-to-face discussion would be better and suggested we invite you over.”

“Oh,” I said. “Right.”

“So…plans?”

Page 81: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“Well,” I said, “now that the Apocalypse is over, I can actually use all of my powers. And that means it’s time tobring everyone back.”

“From the dead?” Tara asked.

“Yes.”

They exchanged a glance. “Isn’t…well, is that a good idea?”

“Look, I’m not just bringing everyone back. I’m giving them their lives back.”

“Isn’t that the same thing?” Lilah asked.

I smirked. “Not exactly.” I waved my hand in a wide circle, then smiled slyly as the twins gasped.

Page 82: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Phones started ringing – the house phone, Lilah’s cell phone, and Tara’s cell phone. The two of them were keptbusy, telling their brothers and cousins that yes, I had done it, and it would probably be fine. When they glanced atme for confirmation, I nodded. This wasn’t a bad thing.

Of course, I also smiled at the chaos. Sometimes, being The Creator was fun.

Page 83: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“How did you do that?” Lilah asked, sitting down once the phone calls were done. I looked across the table at her.

She looked just as I remembered. So did Tara.

“I have powers. I voluntarily gave them up for the duration of the Apocalypse, but it’s over now, and I’m usingthem. From now on, aging stops at adulthood. Once you finish college, you stop aging, though you can still havekids. There will be no more death, and no more pain. Rocks levitate, everyone lives.” I used my powers to make afew rocks fly in from outside, circle us all, then fly back out. This powers thing? Was completely and totally beyondawesome.

They exchanged yet another glance, speaking without words as they had always been able to do. Then they turnedto me. “We’re in,” Lilah said. “What do we need to do?”

Page 84: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“So why do we have to use the bone phone?” Lilah asked as she and Tara led me to where it was stored – once Iexplained the process, of course. “Can’t you just…wave your hand and bring them back?”

“Oh, I can,” I said. “Grim is much more pleasant when you do things his way, however, and the bone phone worksquite well.” They nodded as we stopped by an inconspicuous door at the front of the house. Tara took a key fromher pocket and unlocked it, heading inside. Lilah didn’t move, so I didn’t either. “You keep the door locked?”

“Didn’t want the kids to get into it when they were younger.”

“Why’s Tara got the key when you’re the heir?”

Lilah laughed. “I may be heir, but she’s the responsible one.”

Page 85: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

Tara came out then, carrying the bone phone. “Living room, you think?”

“No, too public,” Lilah said, shaking her head. “Let’s use the nursery.”

“Yeah, that’ll work,” I said.

Page 86: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

We headed back to the nursery and set up the bone phone in the open space.

“How does this thing work, anyway?” Tara asked as we all stared at it.

Page 87: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“You press the green button – it connects you directly to Grim, or to his people. They’ll ask you who you want toresurrect and how much you want to spend. Always do the full $10,000.”

“Why?” Lilah asked.

“You’ve got a good chance of getting a zombie if you don’t. You’ve got the money, and if you run low, let me know.I can get you more.”

They nodded. “Are you going to stay and help?” Tara asked.

“With the first one, yeah. But I’ve got work soon. If you have trouble, call me, but try having someone else try first. It generally only works if you knew the person in life, so you’ll need your father or aunt or uncle to bring back yourgrandparents and great-grandparents anyway.”

Page 88: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

“Can do. So, who’s first?” Lilah picked up the phone, her hand hovering over the green button.

“Sophie died last,” Tara said. “Or Joyce, of our cousins. Or Mom at our house.”

“Let’s do Sophie, then.” Lilah pressed the button. “Yeah, hi. We’d like to bring back Sophie. Sophie MiguelWhedon. Uh huh. Our cousin Charlie’s wife, yeah. Full ten thou. Cool.” She hung up and stepped back.

Page 89: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

There was a misty fog, and Sophie appeared. “Wow,” she said.

Page 90: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

I waved my hand at her, then the bone phone. She jumped as she became an adult. “There you go,” I said. “Thedeaging will happen soon after coming back to life. And I, my dears, am off to work,” I said flippantly. I wasn’t sureif I wanted to be there when Willow came back, and work…well, I had it, but it was a convenient excuse. I couldhave missed a day if necessary.

Page 91: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

As I left, I could hear Sophie turn to the twins. “What just happened? What’s going on?”

I smiled a satisfied smile as I left the house. The resurrection of all of my sims? Was going to happen.

---

And that’s all, folks! For thanks and other stuff, turn the page!

Page 92: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

So, the Apocalypse is over! (I think ghostly!Rupert is quite happy about that…or possibly about his bed. Not like itmatters. )

I decided a long time ago that this would be the official ending point of the Apocalypse itself – with the last restrictionlifted, and the hint that everything will be okay. There has to be an end at some point, and if I don’t end it now…I’mnot sure I ever will.

You will not see any more official Apocalypse chapters, though I may occasionally do a short side story (somethinglike my Apocaversaries). And, in addition, there is something I would like to announce: Liam’s Bachelor Challenge!

Yes, this will be coming soon to a computer near you, though I have a few things I want to do which may or may nothappen beforehand, including CC sorting, a better downloads page, and (finally) the installation of FT, AL, and M&G.

Also, I need to, you know, pick girls for that. But, anyway, soon.

Page 93: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

You will see bits of these sims in the prologue to Liam’s Bachelor Challenge (cause no way in hell is he ready for onethe instant he’s resurrected), but that will primarily be about him, and my first few generations.

As for where else you can see my Whedons in future?

Well, my next project probably won’t star them, though I may bring a few over – it’ll be hard choosing which ones, but I don’t want them to overwhelm a new family. In addition, I’m keeping The Hellmouth as a hood, and mayoccasionally play it and do picspams after (and I would like to do a bit of a picspam for the cousins for this chaptertoo).

They won’t disappear entirely, but this is it for A Buffyverse Apocalypse.

It’s been a great ride.

Page 94: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

I would like to (almost) end with a lovely picture of pregnant!Amber and some thank yous.

First, thank you to all my readers. You are all awesome, and I love you all, and I could not have done this withoutyou.

Second, thank you to all the people who made all the awesome CC that I use. It’s lovely having so many moreoptions than what comes in the game, and many of my sims wouldn’t be the same without it.

Third, thank you to anyone who ever let me bounce a plot off of them, which includes the entire cheerleading squad. This wouldn’t be the same without you guys. You kept me interested, and loving my sims, and I’m so, so thankful.

Page 95: A Buffyverse Apocalypse: Chapter Twenty

And finally, I shall leave you with proof of my completion (and some boggling as to how Graham pulled strings whilehe’s still in college – maybe from when his grandmother was in Journalism?) and my full list of restrictions lifted:
