A brief report of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week - 2012

Vigilance Awareness Week-2012 was observed from 29th October 2012 to 3rd November 2012 at RWF. PLEDGE ADMINISTRAION To mark the beginning of the Vigilance Awareness Week, Officers & Staff assembled in the portico of the Administrative Building on 29.10.2012 at 11.00 hrs., and took a pledge. The pledge was administered in English by Shri Rajeev Bhargava, General Manager followed in Hindi by Shri L.M. Pandey, Dy Chief Vigilance Officer and in Kannada by Smt. Kusuma Hariprasad, Dy FA & CAO.

STREET PLAY

A Kannada Street play called Yama Lokayukta illustrating the evils of corruption in society was staged near Administrative Building in the morning for officers/employees on 29.10.2012. In the evening of 29.10.2012, the same street play was enacted near Dairy Circle, Yelahanka New Town (adjacent to RWF West Colony) for General public to create awareness about anti-corruption. LECTURE ON TENDERS & WORKS CONTRACT

On 30.10.2012 a lecture on “E-procurement & E-auction by Shri. Arvind Srivastava, Chief Materials Manger, Shri. B.S. Ranganath, Dy.CMM & Shri. A.S. Prabhakar, Dy.CMM/RWF and a lecture on “Works Contract” by Shri Sadashivan, XEN/RWF were organised for the benefit of medical officers, other officers and supervisors of RWF. The lectures covered all aspects of tenders/works contract from publication of tender/estimate of works contract till finalisation.

CARTOON/SLOGAN COMPETITIONS Cartoon/Slogan competitions for Kendriya Vidyalaya Students (for class VI to class XII) on the subject related to “Corruption in our day-to-day lives” was organised in the morning on 31.10.2012.
