The First Session (February) 1987 of the Sixth Legislative Assembly of Goa, Darnan and Diu commenced at the Assembly Hall, Panaji on Wednesday the 4th February, 1987 and was adjourned sine-die on the same day; the total time taken for the Business of the meeting was 4 hours and 56 minutes.

IV. Hon'ble Speaker informed the House about the Report af Business Advisory Committee.

V. Dr. Kashinath Jhalmi called the attention of Chief Ninrsier to the following matten; of urgent public importance: -

"Anxiety in the nlinhs of the people of Carambolim Village Panchaya~ as the water of the wells in the area has become salty and tne people suffer for water of potable drinking water and steps taken by the Govern- ment to make alternate arrangements to provide kinking water to the nearby villagers of Carambolim".

The Chief Minister promised to make a statement later.

VI. Government Bills: i ) Bill No. 1 of 1987 -The ~ o a ; Daman and Diu Civil Courts (Alaendment)

Bill, 1987 -The Minister for IndusMes asked leave of the House to introduce the Bill. The Motion wzs proposed put to Vote and carried.

ii) The Minister for Industries asked the leave of the House to refer the Bill No. 29 of 1986 -The Goa, Daman and Diu Frivate Nursing Home (Regulation) Bill, 1986 to the Select Committee. The House agreed and referred the Btli ta the Select Committee coimisting of following members.
