A Blanket in the Style of Vasarely

Create a graphic and contemporary blanket inspired by the work of Victor Vasarely (1906-1997).Based

on an association of cubes perceived in axometric perspective, this blanket, though flat, will create the

illusion of in relief work, by assembling diamonds of various colours.

Dimensions :For a blanket worked inPurPle Alpagain double thread (or any other DK yarn to be crocheted in US

G/6 x (each diamond is about 6x 4.2 ); the size of your blanket will vary with

the yarn weight chosen. We opted to work with a DK yarn. We recommend you would not use a lighter

yarn or your finished worked might be too small.

    Materials and tools :

About 940 g of Purple Alpaga in colour 1, 940 g of Purple Alpaga in colour 2, 940 g of PurpleAlpaga in colour 3 and 200 g (estimation) in colour 4 for the border. If you wish to use another

yarn, we can only recommend to make a few diamonds, to weight them and to divide their

weight by the number of diamonds weighed - to get the average weight of 1 diamond.

Multiply this weight by 104 to get the necessary quantity per colour)

Some sewing thread and a sewing needle to assemble the diamonds.
